Livewire, I like your "You might be a redneck" joke..  Another one would be: If you wrap your Christmas cards, you might just be a redneck!
If all you got for Christmas was a box of 12-gauge shotgun shells, pistol and/or rifle ammo, new huntin' boots, and deer scent, you might just be redneck!

During the hectic season that is about to be upon us, what will you do to, relax or lol what I like to call "regain your sanity" ? I'm thinking about drinking a lot of beer i don't think this week will be relaxing for me.

Yesterday we touched on gift wrapping so,
Which do you use more of paper & tape or gift bags ? I like the bags, my wrapping is pathetic.

I like the paper and tape kinda wrapping. I try to add little presents to the outside of the wrapping as well, be it a little ornaments or like a candy cane or something, just to spice it up a little.
I do have a nativity scene.
And I HATE egg nog. The word along makes me gag. When I was little, my Mom used to make us egg nog and she'd make us drink it fast otherwise we'd be late for the school bus. I'm not a breakfast person (I easily go until like 2pm before I eat anything) and having to have something in the morning... and be rushed while doing it... left a bad "taste" in my mouth and I haven't touched egg nog in a loooooooooong time (except to buy it for the hubby).

Which do you use more of paper & tape or gift bags ? I use plenty of duct tape to wrap Christmas presents.... Actually, I use a little bit of everything, without duct tape of course!

Egg Nog yay or Nay ? That's definitely a nay, too much sugar, but I use my own substitute, beer and eggs...  I'm only kidding. I don't drink egg nog.

I decided years ago not to get participate in insanity over the holidays. It's a birthday party for a carpenter's son. He would rather we spend time celebrating that.

Which do you use more of paper & tape or gift bags ?
Paper and tape and as odd as it seems this is probably the only thing I do with great attention to detail. Patterns have to match where paper overlaps or is folded.

At least 3. One outside, one under the living room tree and a set, made out of candle wax in the family room.

Paper. I'm a pro. I can wrap a package with three pieces of tape to hold the paper on the box. I was once required to do this. Have you ever wrapped a six sided hat box? I have, but it took more then three pieces of tape.
