I would love to teach a couple classes
1. Credit 101
How to get yourself out of credit debt the realistic way
How to get the credit card companies to lower your interest rate
How to bypass the "outsourced call center"

2. Car buying 101
How to turn car shopping into an enjoyable experience ( I know I can't be the only one out there that loves car shopping)
car shopping - A game you can play to win !!!

Karla, you are a gem! Can we adopt you? I love new car shopping and I hate being in debt. Could not rep you, so a tip of the hat in your direction will have to do.

I can't think of anything I would seriously want to teach. I think a lecture or two here and there would suit me better.

College students could use a dose of reality. Especially those who are chasing degrees with no real world applications.

And maybe a Re-Entry program for the inmates getting out of prison comes to mind.

Karla, I have to just share this..Last year we bought 2 new cars and did it all on the internet. Hubby emailed several dealerships in driving distance(some were over 100 miles from us), and told them exactly what we wanted. These dealerships were all Honda dealers(what we wanted). One dealership 80 miles from us won the deal. He gave us an outstanding deal.

The cars we wanted weren't even made yet. He ordered them and kept us up to date on the progress. Told us everything. It was pretty cool, one day they were in Canada, the next on a train to Illinois. We actually got them 2 weeks earlier then we were told. The first time we stepped into the dealership was to pick them up. BEST car buying experience ever!

Most dealerships have an internet sales person now. I highly recommend it!

I want to teach a class that couples have to qualify to have children. There are way too many out there that should have never been allowed to have children.

Yay redbird4848 and UW Badgers
looks like we have formed the instructor list for the
Car buying 101 class !!!

lol my sister joked once she was going to get me a t-shirt made that said

"warning!! Car salesmen's nightmare" on the front
and
"so make your life easier and start with your best deal"
on the back !!

ok I have another class I want to teach

Plant Freeze Protection for NE FL

Here in NE FL we get 3 or 4 freezes a year and maybe an additional 1 or 4 frosts. So of course the news being what the news is it tells folks to protect their plants and pipes.

This does not mean you cover every plant with your "big hefty trash bags" !!! This is still Florida so once the sun come up Plants + hefty trash bag = cooked plants
Which further results in the "wait there is Karla, she know about plants so lets ask her whats wrong"

There are however a few folks that are aware of the proper plant protection which would be all the sheets you have been saving since 1960
These will provide endless hours of entertainment as we drive in and out of the neighborhood and re-live the different designs and patterns of each era.

I would teach a class on Respecting other people and Kindness.

I've been on a new job for a little over a month and the people I work with are so rude and mean.

I have to pray all day to keep from getting mad or crying.

I wish I could understand why people don't want to just get along with each other.

Maybe I need a class in that.

I learned Common Sense on City Data.... or was it during lunch period in high school?

Sorry - I'm not sure if Common Sense can be taught, in many cases lack of common sense can be due to a person's mindset and/or their lack of willingness to listen.
