I’d rather go to class as a student instead of teaching, ~ I’m into learning more then just teaching others. However I normally have something to say about anything that’s up for a topic.
After reading the list of posts here,,, it reminds me about the Books for Dummies thread of a while back.
People watching 101 is first on my list of teaching.
How to eat all the leftovers 101
Cleanup in the kitchen 101
Telling people off without being offensive 101
Parallel parking and knowing where the curb is, 101
Parking between the white lines 101
How to avoid new wars or recycled old ones! 101
Learning how to vote “touch screen” and make it count! 101
How to reduce cell phone usage 101

Excellent post, aksarbeN! I especially like the "How to PRY the cell phone off your EAR remedial 101, no A-Pass-Fail! I mean, come on!
I might have to cut class on the kitchen clean up. We have a deal in our home, whoever cooks doesn't do the dishes. And I always cook. Lately though, , it seems I am pulling double duty. Oh well.
Being a student throughout one's life is where it's at! Major reps for that post.

I realize, now that I'm a student again; taking a class at a local community college ,that my brain was gettin' a bit stale. I'm remembering how much more I can learn!!

You are right on with this. It really is the basis of all knowledge if you stop and think about it. Who is the comedian that says "Here"s Your Sign........?

So many good classes to choose from! I would love to be a class helper in some of these for sure.
If I could teach a class I would like to teach pampered/sheltered kids basic life skills needs like canning, cooking, laundry, grocery shopping, budgets and how to stop to visit your neighbor on their front porch.
If I could teach a beauty class since our world seems to be obsessed with how "hot" somebody is, how imperfect other's skin, teeth whatever is I would like to give them a dose of real reality. Have computer screens to show them what they will look like in 20-30-40 years since most won't believe how older people tell them it will be. No plastic surgery allowed in my class!
Yes honey you are going to get upper lip, chin and stray nose hairs. When pregnant with child you are not fat you are the container for God's most precious gift! Fellas you will get wild nose and ear hairs that do need tending to as well. Gray hair is a crown of glory you will earn each one of them. Wrinkles and sagging skin is a part of showing you had a full fun life because your inner beauty grew faster than your outer beauty. Your teeth will age just like the rest of your body so having enhanced blazing perfect white teeth will only make you look like you are wearing false teeth later on. Your hair loss could be a family trait accept it because getting hair plugs and wearing wigs will put a red flag on top of your head for people to know you lack confidence in your God given appearance. The final exam will be finding somebody you can live with for the rest of your life when the looks, sex, hotness is gone because what is on the inside is what will really matter!
Now to find a location.

ok came up with another class I feel would be a big hit with a major portion of the population
Locating the Dishwasher & trashcan 101
Course includes
A free location map so that you will no longer have to put the dirty dishes on the counter because you can't find the dishwasher
Mid class credit will be given to those who successfully locate the sink as the first baby step
They will also be provide "free of charge" a detailed drawing on "proper dish & glass placement"
Another free detailed drawing giving step by step instructions on how to open the cabinet under the sink to discover the trash can and how to put the empty fast food bag into the a fore mentioned container will be given
and no by keeping the countertop clear will not give you more room for the dishes because you skipped the first part of the class.
Successful completion of this class will entitle you to 2 things
1. a happier spouse/SO
2. Instant enrollment in the advanced and highly attended "Placing the Toilet Paper Roll on the Holder" Seminar
This is highly attended due to the folks being signed up for a refresher
rofl want to guess what I spent 30 mins doing this morning

A couple of years ago our high school took away basic accounting classes saying there was not enough interest. The cost of the class was well over $100 because of all the materials. I told them they needed to make it a mandatory class because it was a skill they would all need in life. Same way with Home Ec cooking and sewing classes they are now replaced with early childhood development and "social issues". If parents aren't teaching life skills then school is taking the classes away how are we preparing our future?
