Peeked at presents under the tree: I did better than peek, my Grandmother would alway make us knitted slippers and make us candy. Well my favorite all time homemade candy is divinity and it was always in the box. I would get under the tree, open the box and EAT all of the divinity before Christmas Day! Heeeeheee I have not thought about that in years.
Reuse gift bags? Are we not all supposed to? Heck yes, they cost too much not too.
Given back to the person who gave it to you? I suppose so, my whole family does this (usually can't remember from year to year anyway).
Time of Thanksgiving Dinner will be up to MIL and SIL and if it is not on time MIL will have a breakdown!

I never have. I always enjoyed being surprised on Christmas morning. Plus we were pretty sure to get a few things each Christmas. New socks, a new toothbrush, a new pillow and a book. And we were very thankful for these things and enjoyed opening them every year! We also enjoyed our stockings which were filled with walnuts and oranges!  Christmas is so different these days.

Have you ever "oops" given a gift bag back to the person who gave it to you ?
I save my gift bags, but I haven't reused one yet. I usually use them to store Christmas decorations and such.

Our extended famliy get together starts at 12:00 noon and we will eat around 1pm. Our immediate family will eat around 6pm or 7 pm!

If I knew in advance how much of a "fashion police" my mother-in-law was before I met her for the first time, I would have worn Black fuzzy socks with a 4" wide leopard band with my otherwise plaid attire every time I went to see her.
Anyone wanna guess how I felt about my mother-in-law?

Only if it's a really nice one and it's in extra good nick but most of the time I wrap anyway so I don't tend to use them.

Being a merry old Englander (well, not really merry.... or old.... plus I'm not really English at heart anyway, but apart from that ) I don't celebrate thanksgiving. I do like the sound of the eating and drinking though.

I reuse them. I've regifted a gift bag, but since everyone I give gifts to, does the same thing, we don't consider it an "oops".

Mrs Dude does the bags. I think there are about 6 her family shares. Every 3rd year we get the same 2.
