Good morning everyone
Happy Saturday
It is going to be a beautiful day here in NE FL high of 76 !!
Hanging xmas light in shorts um lol I mean while wearing shorts is just whats the word I'm thinking of ... ok gonna have to settle for "strange"
Last week when it was so cold I was looking forward to my hot coco with a dash(ok a big slug) of Frangelico during the light hanging process, now that I won't need to be warmed up, I wonder how it would taste in cold chocolate milk

Well before I keep rambling on I guess I better ask

Today's Question(s)

Now that we all know what "National Sinkie Day" is (explained in a early morning post on yesterdays ? )

Are you a "Sinkie" ?

Bonus Question:

Who is the "hardest person to shop for" on your xmas list ?

Extra Credit Question:
and you just knew I was going to ask

Have you ever "Square Danced" or should I say "DO-SI-DO'd" ?

Extra Bonus Question:

Who is still eating left-overs ?

A Just because Question:

What is the weather going to be today in your neck of the woods?

Today in History:
November 29, 1890 1st Army-Navy football game, Score: Navy 24, Army 0 at West Point
November 29, 1933 1st state liquor stores authorized (Pennsylvania)
November 29, 1944 John Hopkins hospital performs 1st open heart surgery
November 29, 1959 - The Grammy Awards were shown on network television for the first time.

Word of the day:
importune (im-pawr-TOON, im-PAWR-chuhn) tr.verb
1. To beset with insistent or repeated requests; entreat pressingly.
2. Archaic. To ask for urgently or repeatedly.
3. To annoy; vex.

Today is:
National Chocolates Day - we could stop there and life would be good lol but .....
it is also
National Lemon Creme Pie Day
and
National Square Dance Day
and
National Electronic Greetings Day - heck us here on CD celebrate that every day

Who is still eating left-overs?

Even though we cooked for a dinner in someone else's home, we made enough so that we'd have some here as well ... so we're still eating some leftovers.

What is the weather going to be today in your neck of the woods?

Sunny and mid-40's. Tomorrow - rain/snow and high 30's.

National Chocolates Day

Isn't EVERY day National Chocolates Day? Well ... it should be!

I am guilty.... have ate on the run many of times.
When you have a busy life. What else can one do!! I have a granola bar in my purse for those occasions when blood sugar is dropping,
and there is no place to get something....

Who is the "hardest person to shop for" on your christmas list ?
My sweet, precious loving....HUSBAND!! He has everything a man would desire or want!!

Have you ever "Square Danced" or should I say "DO-SI-DO'd" ?
Yes, I have! And absolutely love doing it!!!

Who is still eating left-overs ?
We are!!!

What is the weather going to be today in your neck of the woods?
Suppose to be in the mid 40's!!!

National Chocolates Day - we could stop there and life would be good lol but .....

I'd rather be a "swimie" than "sinkie" Maybe I'll get extra credit for telling you, I'm an "inie" as opposed to an "outie"
Nobody will be hard to shop for, we are taking the gift card route this year.
We square danced in high school it was a blast!
No left-overs we dined out for Thanksgiving.
Today should be clear in the low to mid 70's. Perfect!

Today's Question(s)

Now that we all know what "National Sinkie Day" is (explained in a early morning post on yesterdays ? )

Are you a "Sinkie" ?
Because I was gone yesterday I had to go and read yesterdays threat to find out what a Sinkie Day was! No I am not one, but hubby is.

Bonus Question:

Who is the "hardest person to shop for" on your xmas list ?
I would guess that my in-laws are, they can buy what they want; so what to get them?

Extra Credit Question:
and you just knew I was going to ask

Have you ever "Square Danced" or should I say "DO-SI-DO'd" ?

Square Danced in middle school, but not since then. I have to admit it would be fun to do though.

Extra Bonus Question:

Who is still eating left-overs ?

No me, we left all left overs in Florida but, I love Thanksgiving leftovers. I am making our Thanksgiving meal next weekend!

A Just because Question:

What is the weather going to be today in your neck of the woods?

Rainy, temps in the 60's.

Norning all-no not a "sinkie".

Yes last day of leftovers here-making a casserole.

High School gym was last time I square danced.

Chocolate day-yum.

No more "shopping" here-all done via keyboard and cash to grands.

I have qualified for a "sinkie", but not recently!

I'm eating leftovers today, tomorrow, and all next week! Lemon Creme pie day today? DOUBLE YUMS!

Weather over at my place finally calming down. Ran through a snow storm going over Vail Pass and am glad I got through there in the morning. Temp today will 48, and the low should be around 25.
Everyone have a great weekend!

Who is the "hardest person to shop for" on your xmas list ?
I never understood this question. when ya get folks things they always use or always need you never have to worry about "running out of ideas" And then there are the things that are home made. I can't remember the last time I actually "bought a gift" for someone else. I sneak a peek at their pantry to see what kind of foods they tend to always have and during the year, fix up a grocery box
(or two or three or more) for them with those items. Everyone uses groceries. Everyone with a baby needs diapers, or would appreciate an offer to baby sit for mom's night out once in a while. Heck, during the year, be ready with a camera to take pictures of your friends with their family or just their children, enlarge it, frame it and viola - instant special occasion gift. everyone with a car buys gas. A gas card will be used by anyone with a car and they are so easy to get - in just about any amount. I just don't understand why folks have trouble getting something for other folks. The whole phrase just boggles my mind.

And for folks on C-D, there are always reps to be given out. Doesn't cost anything

Have you ever "Square Danced" ?
Silly question to ask a West Virginian! What other kind of dancing is there?

Who is still eating left-overs ?
I never understood terming any food as left-overs. Anything not consumed on the day it was prepared is considered a left over and I always cook as if cooking for an army
(I'm the only one here) because food gets better the longer all the ingredients are together. I guess just about everything I make is made with the intentions of creating left overs. Why is this considered by so many as a bad thing or in a derogatory manner? I'm so confused.

What is the weather going to be today in your neck of the woods?
Currently 37, high will be low 50's and low tonight will be int he mid to upper 30's. Excellent Autumn weather!

Yep, I'm a sinkie sometimes!

Still working on left overs, which is fine with me.

Hardest person to shop for is my brother in-law.

I have squared dance. In fact in middle school, we had to learn how to square dance in P.E. Honestly, thats the only time I have sqaure danced. I'm not much of a dancer.

Its going to be about 40 here today under partly cloudy skies. We got a dusting of freezing drizzle/snow overnight and the walks and driveway were a sheet of ice. Luckily its above freezing and gone now.
