Morning Karla and all-

No gift cards.

Always bottles for beer and soda.

Could probably do a week's worth of meals with what we have in fridge and freezer/pantry.

Joint shopping and usually twice a week.

Went to our mall yesterday-wow it was almost empty!!!

Good morning folks!

I actually just used the last gift card in my wallet. It was a gas card and I used it yesterday when I filled up.

My soft drinks are bought in can form for our fridge. If I'm not at home it usually comes in bottle or in a fountain cup!

We seem to be okay on the food in the fridge. Mrs. tpabes is doing some Holiday baking this weekend, so our fridge seems to be stuffed full.

I actually do most of the grocery shopping by myself. Mrs. tpabes will go once in awhile, but I guess I'm the designated grocery shopper. I don't mind it, I like to go early in the morning if I can. The store is pretty quiet and I just go about my business. A pleasant experience actually.

Sure.

My wife and I go together, once a month. We get our meats, poultry, produce and other fresh items at "farmer's market" type supermarket almost an hour from the house, but well worth the trip for freshness and prices! On the way back, we stop at Walmart for boxed, frozen and canned goods and household supplies. In one morning, all the household shopping is done for the month, with short mid-month trip to fill in breads, milk, eggs, etc.

Good morning. Funny you should ask about food in the fridge. My husband just suggested we go grocery shopping at Smiths today. We have enough in the fridge for a meal, breakfast or lunch.

I have a few Starbucks gift cards with smaller amounts on them.

My soda is in a can. If hubby buys beer it's bottled.

I go by myself if we need something Monday-Wednesday and I sit in the car when he gets our roasted chicken on Sunday. I should say I usually shop by myself on Monday-Wednesday. Mr. VA took the day off yesterday.

Moved the mozzarella cheese out of the freezer to the fridge Mon. Ricotta cheese, sausage, parsley, and basil are in fridge. If I can use stuff from pantry I'm making lasagna today.

Mrs Dude has to ride the electric cart. Baskets on those things are not big enough. I haven't made the trailer hitch for her personal scooter so I need to go and push the cart.
