Nice picture Joee

Okay I bought a lotto ticket! LOL I really haven't been out today yet, but I'll see if my "heightened awareness" is still there. I guess it's like once you get a certain type or color car you notice all the cars that are like yours. Try it. Does anyone know the name of those pictures that you have to stare at and wait for the "hidden" picture to appear like 3-d?

Magic eye, I guess stereogram is the official name for it. They used to have those in the Sunday "funnies" in our newspaper.

My Grandpa passed away first then my Grandma .

My Grandpa had the same car for years than finally bought a new car for my Grandma to drive. He still drove the old car.

The day my Grandma passed all the family decided to meet at her house.
We had a hour drive, so we stopped at our local gas station to fill up first. I was so out of it . I didn't notice this while we were waiting for our gas. My husband said, look over by the bathrooms.
Only two employee cars parked next to the bath room.
Same make, model and color of my grandma's new car and my grandpa's old car parked right next to each other.
This is a gas station we go to almost daily and had never seen either car there before.

Was this a sign they are together in heaven?

We'll it made me smile.
Because my Grandma was so bad at keeping a secret.
I do not know "why" she wrapped Christmas presents. She would be so excited about her gift to me. She would throw obvious hints to what the gift was before I opened them.

So, I could see my Grandma throwing me that hint (with the cars) .

Wow, that is neat! I totally believe in things like that.

My brother passed away a few years ago. All my family had flown in. My grandmother was in a nursing home and before we left town for his funeral, I said her prayers, like she had done for us every time we stayed at her house (even as adults when we would bring our husbands!)

She was not conscious and I hugged her and kissed her and told her that I loved her and that she could leave whenever she wanted to, that we all knew how much she loved us.

When we got back to town the next day, we were told that my grandmother had died...the hour that we were at my brother's funeral.

I can't believe that, out of 86 years on this earth, it was mere coincidence that she died that very hour.

Many people have thought that this was a terrible blow to have happened right after my brother died, but it was a comfort to me, because I knew that she was there with us at the funeral and that it was her choice to die when she did.

I had a weird day recently; I was driving my Mack truck (it's a one-stack Mack with a window in the back...) when I was SO distracted looking at this dogg in a black suit driving his Mercedes that I cut this woman off and didn't even turn on my blinker (Why warn car drivers; they'll just speed up) All the black people I see drive SUVs and wear Eddie Bauer clothes...imagine that!! (Sorry, everyone; it's been THAT kinda day...)

About 20 years ago, my cousin's wedding was all planned. Her brother, who was 9 years old passed away suddenly. If that wasn't enough heartache, my Aunt passed away about 10 weeks later, very suddenly also. Well, my cousin still kept her wedding date which was about 6 months away, and during the reception there was a brief thunderstorm. Someone went outside after the storm was over and called everyone outside...there in the sky was 2 huge rainbows, one right under the other. I still remember my cousin standing in the parking lot with her arms around her Dad, looking at those rainbows. There wasn't a dry eye in the parking lot.

Thanks, whatalady! I've only been on City-Data about a week and I've already gotten feedback. Is it possible that I've become addicted so fast??? (And posts like I love PA's above are one of the reasons!

Okay, y'all might get a kick out of this.
So this afternoon I decided to test the "law of attraction" theory. I told myself I want to see a man in a red shirt. Then I thought that's too easy. So I said I want to see a man in a red plaid shirt. Still, too easy I thought. So I said I want to see a black man in a red plaid shirt. I thought that was uncommon enough not to happen. I went out to lunch with the family then came home without seeing a black man in a red plaid shirt. No big deal. It actually didn't even cross my mind that I didn't see this. Well, in the evening on the spur, I decided to run to the bookstore. Less than two miles from my house as I turn a corner, I see a black man in a car wearing a red plaid shirt!!!! I was alone in the car and all I could do was bust out laughing and call my DH and tell him what happened. Now if only I can "attract" the winning lotto ticket! LOL.

Someone else want to try "attracting" something and see if it works??
