Why not take it one step further and say you want to see a black DOG in a red plaid shirt?

I'll never forget, a few years back, there was a day where I felt like nobody noticed me. No one said hello or acknowledged me at work - I felt like I was invisable. Well, the next day a friend of mine was talking about a meeting that had occurred the day before- one that I had participated in. When I commented about it she replied "You were there? I didn't see you". What's even wierder is that 2 other people asked "Where were you yesterday?" Was I invisable? Dreaming perhaps? It was very strange.

Okay, I've got to run out to Publix and I will be looking for a 48-58 YO unmarried, straight man wearing a college football t-shirt who will smile at me. I was going to leave race open-ended, but just to make it a little harder-I want him to be mixed race- black/white.
BRB with the 411.

So this afternoon I decided to test the "law of attraction" theory. I told myself I want to see a man in a red shirt. Then I thought that's too easy. So I said I want to see a man in a red plaid shirt. Still, too easy I thought. So I said I want to see a black man in a red plaid shirt. I thought that was uncommon enough not to happen. I went out to lunch with the family then came home without seeing a black man in a red plaid shirt. No big deal. It actually didn't even cross my mind that I didn't see this. Well, in the evening on the spur, I decided to run to the bookstore. Less than two miles from my house as I turn a corner, I see a black man in a car wearing a red plaid shirt!!!! I was alone in the car and all I could do was bust out laughing and call my DH and tell him what happened. Now if only I can "attract" the winning lotto ticket! LOL.
Someone else want to try "attracting" something and see if it works??

I don't really believe in coincidences, since I think everything happens for a reason. Maybe it was your spirit-guide/guardian angel/etc. watching out for you? I always try to pay attention to "signs", just for this reason! Btw, my dog always sits in the passenger seat (unless I have another human with me) like a person, so I had to LOL at that. He doesn't wear a black suit & tie, but does have a doggie seatbelt... got it after we had a car accident last year, which almost got him injured.

that reminds me of my friends wedding. She lost her mom when she was 4 and just her dad raised her and her brother alone. Well on her wedding day in church, she had a song play in memory of her mom and it was a country song called "tears in the floor of heaven". It was the most beutiful sunny day not a cloud in the sky. Well during the reception, a huge downpour came and lasted for just a couple minutes then it was all clear again. Now this weather is quite common in FL but her wedding was in N.H. where it rains for days when it starts. Anyways, she ran outside on the patio when she heard the rain and said "It's my mom!"

coming back from a fishing weekend, in the backwoods of maine, i stopped at a store, we bought some chips and a pizza, and on the way out, i saw a man standing at the exit, he turned looked at me, said my name, and i looked at him, then i recognized it was , an old neighbor ,,,where i grew up, we shook hands, i asked many questions, he didnt say much,,,and my friends were , hollaring at me to get back to the car, well, as i said goodbye, and turned, it hit me,,,im over 40, and i was 10-15 when i knew him as a neighbor, and he looked exactly the same!!, i turned around quickly, and of course, he was gone,,,,,,well, with this weird feeling eating away at me, i called my sister, ,,,,tell her who i saw and how weird it was, and she said,,,no way,,,he died 10 years ago,,,i said he couldnt have, i just saw him,,,he said my name, and she asked, what did he call me,,,and it was tommy,,,,,not tom,,,,only my mother and childhood friends call me tommy,(now)
anyways,,,we pulled out of the parking lot and a state trooper went flying by us,,,,,,4 miles down the road, there was a three car pile-up,,,,and if i left ,,,the store ,,without seeing,,"my old neighbor" id have more than likely been one of those cars....
well, i was freaked,,,so i made some more calls when i got home, and sure enough the guy did die ten years ago.

You all really have to listen to Coast To Coast AM!!! (If you don't already!)
I mean, yeah, there are alot of "weirdos", but also alot of neat stuff like these posts! (As well as many other interseting & thought provocing topics!)
Remember though - there ARE a lot of freakies up at this hour of the night... (It's on 1-5AM East Coast time)
