News, Shooting victim goes to work with bullet in head.
RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. A man who was hit by a stray bullet in the back of the head is back at work with the slug still stuck in his skull. E.T. Strickland, 74, a commercial real estate seller, said the bullet hurts, but not enough to keep him from his job.
Strickland was told by his doctors not to have the bullet removed unless it was pressing on any arteries or causing health problems. He does plan to see a neurosurgeon though because he wants it taken out if possible.

This guy has been making excuses for too long now. His drill sergeant was yelling at him to get the lead out fifty years ago....

I appreciate a post of this caliber but after all these years shouldn't a sergeant leave his privates alone?

Boy that's dedication, or the guy has a hole in his head...
He should consider himself very lucky he's still alive.

I agree with ya Mike. As little as I care to know about guns, dont you normally die instantly when hit in the head with a bullet?

That depends on a lot of factors, mainly the caliber and the velocity of the bullet. Some calibers don't produce enough energy on impact to cause death, so that might be the reason why he survived.
