Pick it up everyday. Sort out junk mail and toss . . . then let it pile up til I am ready to write out the bills!!!

Christmas Day. Hubby works on Christmas Eve and the 4 year old girl I watch, I'll have that day as well. Both her parents work that day. Her dad works for my husband.

Get it everyday and open it as well.

Neither, we put in the mailbox at the grocery store 3 blocks from our house.

I go about every 2 weeks to get books to read for the kids I watch

Yesterday, I guess. The last day I worked outside the home was a week ago yesterday. I work at home as much as possible and do quite a bit of support on the telephone.

When does everyone have their "first day off" for the holiday ?
As other have said with being retired it is pretty much a day off all the time , however with my volunteering projects (lol I think going back to work would be less work) I have a fundraising conference call Monday at 4 pm so once that is done I will be off until after the 1st.
lol however I never go on vacation from the dogs in dogs out feed dogs etc "job"

I have been known to let it sit int he MB a couple days

We probably get 3 or 4 a month

Pretty much the MB we don't have much outgoing mail only the netflix movies and the mortgage payment because that is the one company that hasn't figured out letting you folks pay on line will make their lives easier
The goodie packages I send to our buddy Rance in Alaska I take to the PO

Last summer for our neighborhood HOA meeting
With 3 paper/book "loving" dogs I wouldn't risk borrowing anything
