My day was very busy, last minute shopping, pick up the fixin's for tacos and salsa, cut, weld, grind and paint a large bird cage for my Son, he did help and while doing that fixed dinner, started out at 8 AM and finished up at 9 PM, it was a good day.

Two great things happened yesterday. First, someone here at CD through a compliment my way, which made me feel great! Second, I got to take two, count 'em TWO, naps! I have six kids. Two naps in one day is a real treat! Merry early Christmas to me!

As a result of my negligence, I thought that I had lost a valuable ring. I found it!!! It had belonged to my husbands great-aunt many years ago before we inherited this precious reminder of a sweet, loving lady.

I received my sister's annual cheesecake shipment, in the mail. One Apple, caramel, nut and one Mounds bar, coconut and chocolate.

Oh My Gosh...LOL Yesterday...The greatest!!!!! our roads are still icey, but the temp went up enough to start melting the frozen stuff.

I had gone to Target to get stuff needed for the house 2 weeks ago. I saw 3 different sets of DVD's I know DH would LOVE to have. But my mission and funds were for household needs.

DH drove me out to the same target and they were all gone, (He hates shopping). So I went out to the van and said "no luck" He took me to another Target...sat in the van and waited patiently. I GOT IT!!!!! The one that I had hoped for!!!!! Guys you might know how DH will like it when he opens it. Some ladies as well. It's a M*A*S*H collection of The complete TV series, seasons 1 - 11. 36 disc set. Games, the original 1970 movie that got it kicked off and more. I sooo cannot wait to see his face tomorrow.

Then he took me out to dinner at a nice Chinese Restaraunt.
So my yeaterday has thrilled me beyond exstatic

Thanks for putting up with my exuberance, I am one happy lady.

This is such a nice thread; I love reading folks' happy posts! Yesterday my guy (finally) solidified his plans for visiting me over New Years'. I had started to lose hope he'd be able to make it. So I'm a happy gal!

Yesterday was #2 sons 9th Birthday. It was a VERY good day. After the usual presents thing in the morning, we took him out to eat wherever he wanted to go for supper (Burger King), then took the pack of Ruffians to see "The Tale of Despereaux". He had a ball, so it was a very very great day for me as well.

I never stop into the fast food places, so it was a treat for me as well .

Wow yesterday we sort of acted like kids in the snow. Mr. L was blowing and I was shoveling. I looked like Mrs. Snowlady and we laughed lots. Then went for a nice lunch.

NWV-that's a miracle!!!!

Well lets see, yesterday I stopped by our local co-op, on my way back home from breakfast, and picked up a 100 pounds of cracked corn for the deer that I feed out here and I got the 100 pounds for less than $12, price came down, that's good...

Yesterday we went shopping looking for deals. I've been checking the price on Battlestar Gallectica for some time,my husband loves the show, anyhow each season runs about $42.I found them for $19.99 each at Shopko and snatched them up.

I also had my favorite Green Mill dish Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sun Dried Tomatos and Asparagas...yummy
