Ok guys here’s a strange one to me but to some maybe not so weird, daughter went over to some peoples home (who happen to be of catholic faith just for reference) over the holidays (Christmas) they had this cake in the shape, form what ever you want to call it of Jesus, sat it on the table then proceeded to sing to it happy birthday, to each their own but when I heard that my first reaction was they did what, so my question is has anyone ever seen or heard of this done.

I broke every tradition this year and I think that's weird, new and possibly bad in a way, but it will be memorable.

Our family meets at our daughter's house every Christmas Eve for dinner and to open presents. Her neighborhood decorates their homes and yards 'big time', and there is lots of traffic coming through to see everyones decorations. Also, the entire neighborhood puts out luminaries all along the sidewalks and driveways, so it's quite a sight! Neighbors sit out in their driveways around fire pits and wish passers-by a Merry Christmas...it's a wonderful way to celebrate and be together as a family!

Get together with family, eat and drink way too much and have loads of laughs. That's pretty much what our holidays entail.
