Hahaha! I see that your memory is no better than mine, fuzzy. When first married we received a bunch of crock pots as gifts. Being frugal sorts we thought we'd pass them along in due time as gifts to others. My mom, who was the giver became the receiver of one of them. Having a plethora of crocks - we never even took it out of the box, btw - she was so surprised that there was a hundred dollar bill in it - just like she had neatly placed in the one that she gave us a few years back. We were silent. And darn, I can't rep ya...

My Aunt and her daughter always get me dud gifts. Well her daughter decided we should not exchange gifts because we each had children, so that was the biggest dud, but she always gave me things I could not use and did not want any way, so this year I returned the favor to her and her kids. My Aunt got me a vase to go with the cake plate she gave me last year. I am still wondering why...
