wow either I'm early or everyone is late!

I organized my desk yesterday. Nothing unusual on my desk, I used to keep sea monkeys.

We do taxes at the last minute as we don't get a refund.

My husband is "my people."

Looking forward to a quiet weekend.

2 % half gallon of milk used for my morning coffee.

Happy TGIF everyone!

Good morning Karla!!

The last time I cleaned off my desk? Ooh, been a while for that! I do have some of the metal toys I had as a kid along with a beat up Mickey Mantle baseball card right by my rolodex.

Regarding taxes, I'm going to have to snarf down some coffee before I can EVEN think about them! And I do have someone do them.

No special plans this weekend, the weather is taking care of that question for me. Snow! ARGH!!

On the subject of milk, it usually is 1%. I buy it by the gallon.

National apricot day? Ooh, love that apricot nectar! Scrumptileitious yums!

At home this past tuesday!
At work when I retired.... about 6 years ago

Do you have anything "unique" or unusual on either of your desks ?

Not really.... but there is a polished stone and several "japanese lucky cats"

Has anyone started working on their Taxes ? Just saving the papers to send to accountant.

Do you do them yourself or do you have "people" ? Got the best woman out in California..love her to pieces.

Do you have any special plans for the weekend ? Not really....will go to church....maybe a movie, but it is possible we will try cross country sking.

Milk yay or nay Only in cooking, coffee or on cereal.....humans are the only animal that drink milk into adulthood.

What kind do you keep in the house ?
(1% 2% etc) 1.5%

Gallon or Carton ? quart bottle

Morning all-it's always organized but after Mr. L searches in the drawer-yep have to re-straighten.

Taxes-we have people! Not worth the nerves/stress.

Weekend-no plans-winter in MN=no plans.

Milk-never drink it by the glass-have 1/2 gal of 2% used only for coffee.

Safe weekend all!

Good morning everyone!
Today's Question(s)

In honor of National Clean off your Desk Day, when was the last time you "organized" your desk...At home.....At work
I work from home & my one desk does it all. I spent most of last night trying to wade thru it.
I used to be better about that...then I discovered the C-D forums!

Bonus Question:

Do you have anything "unique" or unusual on either of your desks ? My (late) husband's police badge. Don't know why,
but I like having it around. It stays right under the computer screen where it won't get buried in paperwork.
Which I wouldn't be up to my eyeballs in if I could just beat this CD addiction!

Extra Credit Question:

Has anyone started working on their Taxes ? I file quarterly, so it's an ongoing thing....ughh...

Do you do them yourself or do you have "people" ? I have people who wish they didn't have me!

Extra Bonus Question:

Do you have any special plans for the weekend ?
A long over-due girls' day out of lunch & shopping! What about you?

Just for Fun Questions:

Milk yay or nay YAY!!!

What kind do you keep in the house ?
(1% 2% etc) Skim for me, all others when I have company.

At home Every day at the end of the day before I go home.
At work Uh... okay... about once every two weeks.. but it's not used that often!

Do you have anything "unique" or unusual on either of your desks ?
Pictures of my family and 49ers stuff (cup, mouse pad, hanging sign).

Has anyone started working on their Taxes ?
Nope.. since I switched jobs this year, I'm waiting on both W-2s.

Do you do them yourself or do you have "people" ?
We do them ourselves.

Do you have any special plans for the weekend ?
Teaching my son to drive stick shift. He already has his license, but we got him an old car for Christmas, I just have to teach him to drive it now.

Milk yay or nay
Yay.

What kind do you keep in the house ?
(1% 2% etc)
Both. I drink whole milk, my kids drink 2%.

Gallon or Carton ?
Gallon(s)!! We get about 2-3 gallons a week. But, I feel it's better for them than some juices or sodas.

Today's Question(s)
I don't have a desk at home. I use the diningroom table when I do desk type jobs.

Has anyone started working on their Taxes ? The ulcers are coming along nicely.

Do you do them yourself or do you have "people" ? We have people, but the hardest part is getting all the information together. I already told you about the dividend check. Mr. VA puts everything together and hands it to the "people." So she was opening up the envelopes and rips something off and says, "You might want to cash this dividend check. Hope it hasn't expired yet." It was April and the check was for December.

Extra Bonus Question:

Do you have any special plans for the weekend ? Very special plans. Our granddaughter will be three tomorrow. We are planning a little visit to see the whole family for one day only. Drive there and stay a few hours and drive home.

Just for Fun Questions:

Milk yay or nay: Use it for cooking, cereal and coffee.

What kind do you keep in the house ? 1%
(1% 2% etc)

Gallon or Carton ? Gallon doesn't cost much more than others. If we can't finish it, I feed it to the cats.

In honor of National Clean off your Desk Day, when was the last time you "organized" your desk At home - When you know what freezes over...
At work - when I worked, it was cleared and cleaned at the end of every shift because the position was a 24-hour one with 2 other people using the same desk every day. I had to keep all notes and cheat sheets with me. Everyone had different cheat sheets or note keeping because no two shifts were alike.

Do you have anything "unique" or unusual on either of your desks ? At work, I kept an Eeyore stuffed animal on my desk. At home, I have an antique telephone.

Has anyone started working on their Taxes ?
Does starting a folder for all the info coming in mean I started?

Do you do them yourself or do you have "people" ?
I have people.

Do you have any special plans for the weekend ?
watching movies and staying on a new diet plan.
Milk yay or nay
yay

What kind do you keep in the house ?
(1% 2% etc)
Neither. I make it as needed, either with instant milk powder or diluting evaporated milk. The only *milk* I buy is cream when that is called for in a recipe.
