Today's Question(s):

Now that we know all about you & milk let's find out

What is you favorite kind of juice ?

Cranberry, a half-n-half mixture of super-puckery Knudsen's 100% cranberry juice with just enough "mainstream" cranberry juice to add a tiny bit of sweetness. The stuff you usually find in the stores, even the "all-juice" varieties, is all a mixture of a little cranberry with high-sugar juices like apple, and you don't actually get much cranberry in them. Adding a higher proportion of all cranberry gives it a lovely tartness that really wakes my mouth up in the morning.

What is your least favorite kind ?
Tomato

How often do you enjoy the above mentioned juice?
Well, since you don't specify whether you're asking about most or least favorite, I'll reply to both. I enjoy tart cranberry juice every morning, most recently about 10 hours ago. I have never enjoyed tomato juice, but the last time I drank it was about 20 years ago.

Bonus Question:
might as well keep the food thing going

What is your all time favorite dessert ?

All time favorite... that's a tough question. We don't actually eat dessert often. There's a gingerbread trifle we make for Christmas dinner that I like an awful lot. We have an oatmeal cake recipe that's been a family favorite for decades. And I enjoy nearly any kind of pie.

Do you make it or buy it ?
Aside from bread, which is my spouse's specialty, I am the family baker, so any time we have dessert, I make it.

Extra Credit Question:

Ice Cream !!

love it
or
It's ok

I love it too much - I try not to have it in the house, lest I finish it all!

Favorite Flavor ?
Vanilla (real vanilla, if you please, none of that artificially flavored stuff) with a nice dollop of peanut butter on top.

Do you eat Ice Cream in the winter ?
I would (and have, and do) eat ice cream any time I can get my greedy little paws on it.

Have you ever made homemade ice cream ?
Yes, when our kids were youngsters. It's fun if you've got young 'uns to do the work of churning.

Extra Just Because Question:

lol after all this "food talk" anyone else as hungry as I am ?

I am ALWAYS hungry. Why do you think I spend so much of my time hanging out in the Food & Drink forum??!

Hi Karla and All!

Well, it's the weekend so I have NO excuse for not coming dowqn to respond to the QOD! My favorite juice is orange juice (low pulp, please!) However, Low Sodium V-8 is a close second for me. While I don't drink O.J. that often these days (it's mostly a weekend pleasure...) My lovely bride puts TWO cans of V-8 in my lunch box every day! As for desserts, that's a tough one. I like just about any kind of dessert! Coconut isn't my favorite, but I usuallly won't turn down a dessert that has it. Probably chocolate eclairs would be my favorite, followed by Boston Creme pie. And pies and cakes after that.

I do eat ice cream in the winter! Speaking of ice cream, we enjoyed "spaghetti ice cream" in Europe! They take vanilla ice cream and run it through a machine that squirts it out to resemble pasta. Then a strawberry topping is added to resemble the spaghetti sauce. Ground hazelnuts or almonds are the "parmesan cheese" on top. That's almost as good as the ice cream with alcohol on it served in Europe!!!

It was 35 years ago today that I reported to Lackland AFB, TX for Basic Training...sigh!

OH! I almost forgot; it's impossible to be FASTIDIOUS while enjoying a good chocolate eclair! And I also love bittersweet chocolate (Especially Ritter Sport's...)
