People who are quick to make a broad statement about a narrow viewpoint. Typical example: WV is a backward state filled with incestuous adults missing most of their teeth.

Don't even get me started!!!! Just think about being a Southerner - and all the ignorant things we are stereotyped with!!!!
I was at Cocoa Beach - started talking to some other tourists from the NE - and when they found out I live in Charlotte, you shoulda heard the stereotypes kick in!! I was reminded that yes, people really do have distorted ideas about Southerners, the South in general, and about Charlotte, as well.
The first thing the lady said was - "Oh, no, I just couldn't live there w/ all that fried food. And we are not into NASCAR."
I didn't grew up eating fried foods and still don't fry food and don't know anyone who does that. I mean - I guess there are some people who fry fish or make french fries at home, but that is something people do all over the country . . . Who wants to deal w/ grease popping all over the stove and the cook, as well? Plus the fat . . .
