Things we do that annoy people. (cell phone, women, story)

1. I occassionally bite my nails which drives my DH batty.

2. I give way too much detail when I explain something which also drives my DH batty.

3. I'm opininated and vocal with those opinions. If I think somebody is an A$$, I have no problem telling them.

On the plus side, people always know exactly where they stand with me.

I think logically and rationally and I have too much common sense.... which isn't so common, apparently.

Other than that, I don't know of anything I do that gets on people's nerves.

I occasionally get on a soapbox and state my less than PC opinions. Usually something about less than intelligent stances on selected government programs. I smoke (outdoors or in the garage at home). I think that opinions that are at variance with others should be allowed to be voiced (not necessarily agreed with, even by me!).

I have an inflated sense of ego, related to my opinion of my intelligence, and have let some people know I don't LIKE to suffer what I consider fools gladly.

I have an old Carharrt jacket that I wear that my wife hates to see me wear (daily here in winter).

With a certain select few I have no problem telling them how it is. I don't skirt around the issue or mince words. For them it's meant to annoy! Don't get me wrong, these folks needed it after I put up with their bs for a long time.

I have a habit of zoning out when I find conversations boring. I know it annoys some folks but I can't help it when my mind gets sidetracked

I tend to give too much detail about an issue or event. I never know when to close my mouth. Ask me what time is it and I’ll tell you ~ then add comments on how they build the watch and how great it works. Sorry it’s only 5:09pm right now.

I dislike it when I ask a question and get an answer that isn’t fitting the question. I think need to go into detail about the question and why I’m asking so people will provide the answers that work out.

Maybe that’s why I do what I do in the other post? Ya think?

I flip the Tabloids backwards at stores/checkouts, or better yet, put a Good Housekeeping magazine in front of them when they're nearby.

Nothing compared to the Pet Food, annoyance I was (and stil am), though. I used to annoy people during the big recall who feed their pets many of the recalled brands with email update alerts and info ...must have been extremely annoying because I am pretty much alienated now. (Although it was more annoying to hear them complain about their animals suffering the same ailments over & over, knowing why...)

I say what I mean. Sometimes I say it in a rather succinct manner. Not everyone appreciates it.

I'm partially deaf and I say, "What?" a lot. That is annoying for me as well as others.

Just remember: Those of you who think they know everything are particularly annoying to those of us who do.

I broke my DW of this habit many years ago. I will gladly tell your DH the method I used.
