How time flies! I just cannot believe it is 2009 and tax time AGAIN!

Sorry west coasters, it was after midnight here when I posted this and that makes it officially the 14th. Sleepless nights usually are followed by sleeping in once I do manage to doze off.

My husband doesn't believe in paying the taxes until April 15. He doesn't mind paying the money, he just doesn't want to pay it before he must. My share is already paid.

taxes make me nervous. but I got another pet peeve today and I'm still shaking my head.

Got an email from someone that was part of causing a lot of trouble and who said some nasty stuff........
asking me to buy something her son is selling. Have not heard from this person for MONTHS...

Is that gaul or what. After I got over shaking my head......I deleted the email.
Some people are either stupid or think you are stupid.

O.K I'm peeved today. We have a leaky pipe in the house. The shut off for the whole house is outside by the road in a deep hole. This pipe joint is between the wall and the washing machine. It leads to the outside faucet. The faucet is frozen and so it leaks inside...(Just a bit of background info there). Any way...I have a 2 qt bowl for it to drip into. (nothing else fits under it) I empty it several times a day. I've asked the other adult person in the house to be sure to empty it before they leave for work in the morning. AND today is the third morning I've woken up to it leaked all over the floor and overflowed. Each day I have said upon this persons arrival home.."you forgot to empty the bowl and I woke up to a mess to clean up"....Uhhhh HELLLLLLLOOOOOO how many reminders must I give??? Tomorrow morning there will be a note on the front door. In large permanant marker letters. "PLEASE EMPTY THE BOWL OF WATER"...

Thanks for letting me post this peeve even though it has nothing to do with taxes, Just had to get it off of my chest.

Cold weather and water pipes don’t work well together.

Taxes are always the last day possible.

My concern is that eventually that pipe will burst. Then have to call the water dept. to shut it off. All the time that would be involved will cause a lot of water damage. It IS on this springs to do list If I had a shut off in the house I could fix it myself. We're not going to get out of the deep freeze for a while so I'm worried.

Those are people that really have no opinion but want to be part of the conversation.
