Today's Question Monday 1-19-09
Good morning everyone
Happy Monday
A new week has begun though some of our CD family may have today off in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
I can not believe January is almost over !!!
It seems like yesterday we were getting ready for Christmas. Now we are getting ready for February
But the good news is spring is getting closer & closer
Well before I head over to let my friends dog out let me ask
Today's Question:
If you could "turn back time" to any previous Birthday, to relive the festivities once again, which Birthday would you chose?
Bonus Question:
Are you planning on watching any part of the Inaugural proceedings tomorrow?
** please note I do not want this to turn into a political thread so a yes or no will be perfect **
Extra Credit Question:
Anything special on your "to do list" for today ?
Just for Fun Questions:
Pop Tarts yay or nay
If Yay ,
Whats you favorite flavor ?
Toasted or right out of the package ?
What are you wearing on your feet right now ?
How many times will you be going outside today ?
Today in History:
1903 - New bicycle race "Tour de France" announced
1953 - Sixty-eight percent of all TV sets in the U.S. were tuned to CBS-TV, as Lucy Ricardo of "I Love Lucy" gave birth to a baby boy -- just as she actually did in real life -- following the script to the letter! The audience for the program was greater than that watching the inauguration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower the following day.
1955 - "Scrabble" debuts on board game market
Word of the Day:
obscure \uhb-SKYOOR\, adjective:
1. not clearly expressed; hard to understand
verb:
1. to hide from view; dim, darken
adjective:
1. not well known; not prominent
2. dark, dim, murky
Today is:

Morning Karla and all!
Birthdays-any one that has a lower number than this one! My 21st was kind of special.
Yes will be watching.
Pop Tarts-never had one - they are so unappetizing looking.
Feet-flip flops.
Outside today-not sure yet, we're expecting snow-yeah right for a change!!!!!! No trip to the mailbox as no mail today.
Have a good one all.

Today's Question:
If you could "turn back time" to any previous Birthday, to relive the festivities once again, which Birthday would you chose? Relive the festivities? I don't know about that, how about seek RELIEF from the festivities, not RELIVE them! - Just kidding, I wasn't much of a partying type, and I don't know about turning back time, I don't look backwards towards the past and dwell on it.
Bonus Question:
Are you planning on watching any part of the Inaugural proceedings tomorrow? Nope... I'm Magnum Mike, and I approved this message!
** please note I do not want this to turn into a political thread so a yes or no will be perfect **
Extra Credit Question:
Anything special on your "to do list" for today ? Work(???)
Just for Fun Questions:
Pop Tarts yay or nay
If Yay ,
Whats you favorite flavor ? That's a Nay, again can't have any sweets... LOL.. Karla, can you pick something that doesn't have any sugars in it?
Toasted or right out of the package ? None of the above.. or on the left.
What are you wearing on your feet right now ? My birthday suit... relax, only my feet are bare!
How many times will you be going outside today ? That depends on how many times I get sent to my room or the doghouse.... - I don't know, is the best answer I can give you!

Good morning everyone!
I'd probably pick a birthday from my 20's to revisit...I don't think there have been very many "festive" ones since. I usually just wake up & thank the powers that be for getting me through one more year!
I'm sure I'll catch some of the inauguration.
No day off for me today - my "to do" list is just getting longer...
Aaah, Poptarts. What a nice tie-in to the birthday I'd revisit! Poptarts are the best "morning after food" going. Eat one cold while you wait for the other one to toast.
I will be in & out countless times today - just part of the job.
Today is:
National Popcorn Day
National Hat Day
New Friends Day
International Sing-Out Day
Champagne Day !!!
WOW! one day for all those great things? Talk about a full day!
Good questions, Karla with a K!

Today's Question:
If you could "turn back time" to any previous Birthday, to relive the festivities once again, which Birthday would you chose?
The only one I'd want to go back and relive was not a birthday celebration at all. The man who eventually became my spouse took me out on our first date on my 19th birthday. Even then, I did not enjoy birthday celebrations, so I didn't tell him at the time that it was my b-day, but I can say unequivocally that he is *the best* birthday gift I've ever gotten.
Bonus Question:
Are you planning on watching any part of the Inaugural proceedings tomorrow?
** please note I do not want this to turn into a political thread so a yes or no will be perfect **
Unfortunately no, I have to work.
Extra Credit Question:
Anything special on your "to do list" for today ?
Quarterly statement of cash flows, working on my staff's performance measures for the quarter just ended, getting started on their annual performance evaluations, returning all the phone calls and answering all the emails that I didn't have time for during financials. Oh, and lunch with my spouse, who has today off due to the holiday.
Just for Fun Questions:
Pop Tarts yay or nay
Yech. No thanks, I'd rather go hungry.
What are you wearing on your feet right now ?
My favorite 20-year-old boiled wool slippers
How many times will you be going outside today ?
Let's see, out to the car to drive to work, outdoors at lunchtime with the spouse, outdoors after lunch to go back to work, outdoors to drive home, that makes four at a minimum. More if I run errands.
