Karla with a K;7257381]Good morning everyone
Happy Saturday
Wow !! today we say goodbye to January
Pretty soon we will be doing the Valentine Countdown

It is a chilly morning here in NEFL I have watched the temp go from 41 to 38 (w/c 34)since I got up they say it should hit 36 before heading back the other way to 61
Hmmm wouldn't it just be easier on "Ma nature" to just stay at the 41 and go up
They told us on last night's news that we have had 6" of snow cover for 21 days. It might get to 33 F today. North of here it's worse. Hard to find any sympathy for you Karla

Well I have to head out for errands so before I grab my sweatshirt and Alaska jacket so I will be nice and toasty, it is time for

Today's Question:

New flat panel HD TV. If I can train Mrs Dude to get up and deliver snacks I won't move.

We'll be alone. Can't sit in my shorts and belch with company here. Well actually I can but Mrs Dude frowns on it.

Any special SB snacks you will be looking forward to ?
Nothing special. It's all good.

Bonus Question:

What is the fastest you have ever driven ?
In my serious racing days 180 MPH

Somewhere over 100MPH. Can't see speedometer while screaming with your eyes closed.

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever trimmed or cut your own hair ?
NO

How about someone else's ?
NO

Just for fun :

Brussel Sprouts yay or nay

Not necessarily
Will anyone be hosting or going to a SB party ?
Will be going to the party (not necessarily watching the game tho, lol)
Any special SB snacks you will be looking forward to ?
wings, yum.

Bonus Question:

What is the fastest you have ever driven ?
Probably no higher than 88 or so.
What is the fastest speed a vehicle you have been a passenger in has gone?
oh, over 100. My cousin, a teen or early twenties, he had taken his little sister and I to see Robocop, and was speeding on the way home, terrifying us. :shoc ked: He is now a helicopter pilot. He must have had a need for thrills

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever trimmed or cut your own hair ?
My bangs perhaps.
How about someone else's ?
I used to cut my DH's hair a lot to save money. Boy did he whine and complain about the job I was doing. Finally when things weren't so tight, he had no excuse to ask me, but he still did just because he didn't feel like planning a vist to the hair place. Finally I told him I'd had it, I wasn't cutting any more damn hair.

We did try to cut my son's hair with some pretty bad results. Never again, poor kid!

Just for fun :

Brussel Sprouts yay or nay
Yay!
How many rolls of scotch tape are in your home ?
Well I ran out of refills for my dispensr and had to buy some regular rolls from the grocery store but they are not scotch brand, I have about 4 of them left.

Have a nice Saturday everyone!

I think is a law that says if your state team is playing you must watch the SB game. Go Cards!
No party, we'll be watching from home.

I don't drive fast. I've seen 88 on the speedometer with hubby at the wheel.

I have trimmed my own hair and trimmed friend's hair too.

Brussels sprouts are way too green tasting for me.

One roll of scotch tape.

Who will be watching the Superbowl tomorrow ?

Maybe. I'm not really excited about either team. I'll root for the Steelers for my friends who live in the Pittsburgh area.

Will anyone be hosting or going to a SB party ?

Nope.

What is the fastest you have ever driven ?

In my younger, stupider days, in had my car up to 90 once.

Have you ever trimmed or cut your own hair ?

Yes. It was a big mistake! My mother gave me money for a haircut. I went out and bought one of those "Trimcombs" and pocketed the difference. I used it, forgot to clear the hair out of the bathroom sink, and went out to play football. When I came back, my mother was waiting for me asking me if I went for my haircut. When I did, she showed me a handful of my hair from the sink.

I did not enjoy the rest of that month when I had to remain in my room except for meals and school!

Today's Question:

Who will be watching the Superbowl tomorrow ?

Not I. We are not sports fans. In fact, I didn't even realize until a couple of days ago that it was happening this weekend.

Bonus Question:

What is the fastest you have ever driven ?

Somewhere in the 80's. When we used to live in Texas, we'd go to west Texas from time to time, and the roads out there are absolutely flat, no curves or hills, and hardly any cars. Nobody goes under 80 out there.

What is the fastest speed a vehicle you have been a passenger in has gone?
Probably about the same as the fastest I've driven, but I don't generally monitor the speedometer when I'm a passenger.

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever trimmed or cut your own hair ?

Yeah, mine is long and all I do to it is keep it tied up, so it's no big deal to whack a couple inches of split ends off from time to time.

How about someone else's ?
Cut my spouse's hair for years when we were young and poor. Reaching the point where we could afford a monthly barber visit for him was a real milestone.

Just for fun :

Brussels Sprouts yay or nay

Yum! Steamed to perfection, then tossed in a mixture of shallots and garlic sauteed in olive oil and with some balsamic vinegar.... Oh, what a feast!

How many rolls of scotch tape are in your home ?
Three, because I just bought one of those multi-roll packs after using up all the tape at Christmas time wrapping packages.

Any special SB snacks you will be looking forward to ? I would be going for the bacon wrapped venison.

What is the fastest you have ever driven ? 110 mph

What is the fastest speed a vehicle you have been a passenger in has gone? A friends brother gave me a ride on a track - he said we did about 150 mph - I just remember feeling the force push me back against the seat.

Have you ever trimmed or cut your own hair ? My bangs.

How about someone else's ? No

Brussel Sprouts yay or nay

How many rolls of scotch tape are in your home ? Maybe two in the house and at least forty in the studio in school supplies cupboard.
