TOKYO, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Japanese makers of electric toilet seats tricked out with warm water bidets said they are issuing fliers explaining proper use after a series of accidents.

An industry group, which includes 10 electric toilet seat manufacturers, said it created the leaflet after a review of fire-related accidents involving the toilet seats concluded that several were likely caused by improper usage, while others were caused by product defects, The Yomiuri Shimbun reported Monday.

I must pipe up here. It does look like they're on a roll with this current invention. In fact, they're johnny on the spot and sitting pretty and certainly not flying by the seat of their pants. They are plumb clever bidet and by night and they're not just little squirts. I seriously don't think that this idea will tank. Any potty have a better idea? Let's face it: They're on the move with this stall tactic.

Well heck, I know of a few people with trucks that have heaters built into the seats. Now THAT is wierd.

LOL.. Oh boy, I think you got me on that one... my truck has heated seats, with 2 seperate switches for each seat, but I only remember using them once. They do come in handy in July here!
