Talking Happy Birthday to you!!!

Thought I would relax a bit and throw this out to all y'all, youse guys and youens.

A few questions to answer:

What was the best birthday present you ever received (and from who)?

My answer: my ultra cool Lionel train set for my 6th birthday. My dad recently gave it back to me.

Do you have a special birthday dinner? And what about cake?

Answer: Homemade spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and a good red wine. Cake: since I was a kid it's always been carrot cake!

How old are you?
I'll 'fess up. I'm 29. Yep, wish that were true...just hit the big 40 a few months ago. My dad tried to get AARP to send me my membership early...fortunately that didn't happen!

Do you share your birthday with anyone you know?

my best friend Tom. We were roommates when I lived in Colorado. He's 2 years younger than me...still keep in touch regularly.

To all you brave souls...Your turn!!

I know that!! My two brothers and brother-in-law are in December, in-laws anniversary in December, my birthday is 2 weeks after Christmas. Nothing like finding a forgotten Christmas present in the closet as a kid and your mom saying, "Oh yeah, that was for Christmas...well Happy Birthday!"

Favorite B-day gift : When I was 6, my puppy !

Special B-Day dinner : One I don't have to cook ! (Seafood preferably)

Cake: Some extravigant dessert from a restaraunt.

How old am I : Older than the dirt !! (turning 40 this year )

Do I share my B-Day : No, but my B-Day is March 25th, Husband is March 26, In-Laws anniversary is also March 26, Bro In-Law is March 24, Aunts in March 27. So last week in March is quite busy!!

The thing I ever got for my birthday was in 2004, time from my husband. I had just been laid off from my job, my birthday was on a Wed and I was going to be by myself. To me it was an important birthday....turning 50 so he surprised me by taking the day off. It was wonderful, best birthday I ever had!

*Favorite birthday gift?

-Probably the bicycles I got on my 5th and 12th birthdays.

*Special Birthday Dinner? Cake?

-We usually go out to a restaurant of my choice, but this year if we get warm enough weather (1 in 10 odds?) I'd like to get a few pounds of beef ribs and slow cook, then grill and smoke over mesquite wood. (Since there are no good BBQ restaurants in Toronto, and I'm a good cook)

-Likely I'll have to wait until May or June to have my birthday dinner. But we'll probably go out anyways on my birthday.

-Cake? My favorites have been the coconut creme cakes.

*How old am I?

-I'll be 26

*Do I share my birthday?

-No one I know has an April birthday, but sometimes my birthday is Easter.

Default My best birthday!

What was the best birthday present you ever received (and from who)?
Well my son's is 6 days after mine, so he counts as THE very best present in my book. I will have to thank his dad for that one lol

Do you have a special birthday dinner? And what about cake?
OH YES!! Those ice cream cakes! My favorite. Everyone I know gets one from me because I love them so much HAHA.

How old are you?
I am going to be 36 on 3/18 which is a much harder b-day age than the dreaded 30. I am not sure why but I think it put a cap on "30'ish" and send me over to "almost 40"!

Do you share your birthday with anyone you know?
No one on the exact day but I have 4 girlfriends and a child w/birthdays in March

My best birthday present was my mom taking me and my twin sister to a Pointer Sisters concert in Lake Tahoe back in 1985. She just told us to get in the car and didn't tell us what we were going to do.
The concert was fantastic and then we hit the casinos. My sister and I both won $150 off the same slot machine! It was a pretty awesome birthday.
My favorite cake is either chocolate cake with white buttercreme frosting or white cake with chocolate frosting. I like white cake with white buttercreme frosting too
