I finally spoke out and stood up for myself... I don't appreciate schemers and liars especially when they're connected to family. They are the worse kind.

Unless it's for someone at IHOP!

My good-really good news is that my son called me from Iraq today, he's coming home-well, back to Fort Hood, next month and wants us to come down.

Mrs Aks and I enjoyed the day outside attending the fall arts & crafts festival in a small town just north of home. It was a perfect day, lots of great artwork and crafts, plus they had wine tasting booths located throughout the area that was closed off for the event. Mrs Aks found several Christmas gifts to buy as well as some special items for the guest room at the house. I enjoy the win tasting along the way.

Well, I'm going to bed.
This is good news because it means today's worries/trials are over.
Tomorrow will be a brand new day with fresh Grace!

Our local market had a really sale on baking stuff for the holidays. They sweetened the pot by giving an additional $5.00 of if you purchased 10 items. Armed with 2 coupons off we went.

My bill was $14.38 so I saved $14.76. The Super Chief did a little better with hers. A lot of this will go to the local food pantry.

I had to stop in at the US Post Office this morning. I walked in and waited behind only ONE other person to get assistance! This isn't going to happen again in my life.

The problem at my rural post office is its so small and not busy, the postmaster will talk your ear off. He'll go on for a half hour if you let him. I never stop there if I'm in a hurry to be somewhere else.
