Thumbs up Good memories and food

Mom and Dad celebrated their wedding anniversary on the 4th of July. They had gotten married on the 3rd. Over the many years it was always fun to have so many family and friends come around to enjoy the holiday and celebrate not only the 4th but their anniversary.

One of the things I remember was how Mom made her potato salad and she taught me how to make it when I had gotten married myself. Every year for the past 41, I’ve made Mom’s potato salad, and this year it was better then ever for some reason. Love to cook on the BBQ and enjoy homemade potato salad this time of year.

SOunds good to me, too, Aks. I love potato salad. Hmmm...I have a few 'taters hangin' around, doin' nothing. I think they might look pretty good with some mayo on top of them! And a few other things, too.

Congrats to your parents.

I've been off work for 5 days straight. I'm quite relaxed and ready to go back to work tomorrow. 2 day work week!

Knowing that all of my problems today were not half as bad as the other people that I saw or ran into while out and about. Life is good ~ even if it seems unfair at times.

I received an email from one of our favorite members who hasn’t been on the forum for a while,,, maybe a month or so now. He said that things are ok! It was nice to hear from him, and I know we all await his return.

I wonder if it's the same guy I was just thinking about...how ironic...I just stopped by his profile.
That is good news.

^^ Yeap,,, I was able to click the profile and send an email weeks ago. He finally got around to checking his mail and replied. It's one of those things that simply will calm down with time and workout.

This morning,,,, I'm going to spend time with helping out a friend who needs some assistance with a house repair. I'm getting tools ready and batteries charged while I enjoy another cup of coffee and checking C-D.
