Awesome. Glad it went well.

This just goes to prove that if enough noise is made, catastrophe can be averted. The world is never going to end!

I spent eight hours at a training class for volunteers yesterday and things went well. Learned some new tricks and ideas and talked about some of the old standards that hold true. Now I need to find a little more time that works best for everyone to put the volunteer efforts into action.

Went to a Sketchers outlet store and walked out with four pairs of shoes that costs approximately what I paid for ONE of their shoes nearly a year ago ...

Actually yesterday - DW dropped a couple of cans of Dr. Pepper in the garage and we had a real mess sprayed all over the cars and the walls around the refrigerator. Went to move the cars out so I could hose them off and rinse down the floor and one wouldn't start. Dead battery. When we got it pushed out and I started hosing down the floor, I found the floor drain was plugged.

Now before anyone thinks I have totally lost it and posted in the wrong thread, the spilled and sprayed pop caused me to have to do some cleaning in the garage, something I should have already done since we have the For Sale sign in the front yard. Having the battery go dead while parked in our garage was MUCH better than having the battery go dead when we go visit the kids in a couple of weeks and we are 3 1/2 hours from home. And now we will get the electrical system checked too, so we are sure the charging system is working properly. And finding the drain plugged when I was rinsing off one corner was better than finding it plugged whenever I get around to scrubbing and rinsing the whole floor.

Oh, and after that our DS, DIL, and cute little Grandson arrived for the weekend. (I can assure you all that there was absolutely NO SPOILING going on at our house this weekend. )
