My awesome and loving mom gave me money to pay off my school tuition so I can get my degree. I am forever in debt with my mom! LOVE her to death!
Happy Birthday and she raised you well for you to be so appreciative of her! Don't be too hard on your brother--we all have rough weeks sometimes when it comes to money. Enjoy your day!
BTW, your birthday falls on my wedding anniversary!

Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't be hard on them. They always ask for money when they need help, but they wouldn't do the same for us when we ask for help. I know I shouldn't expect returns but I guess I have my limits.

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes! And congratulation to you too, therewego!

I'm canning my first batch of Bread & Butter pickles of the season! Spicy Garlic Dills are next.

Being able to grow and can your own veggies is a good thing!

Well, lots to celebrate here tonight.

Happy B'day, Anberlin, and many more.

Happy Anniversary, therewego.

Happy Drivers License, Lucky Lady. Please warn us when you're on the road, ok?

And, last but definitely not least....Happy Canning, PB (hey, those used to be my initials IRL!). I used to do B&B pickles, Dill (no garlic) and 9 days, along with tomatoes and I froze tons of other stuff, too. It is a very good thing.

My good news is that I spoke on the phone for quite a while with a dear friend this morning and I also managed to get started again on a project I'd started before I moved to Florida 4 years ago. Got a lot done on it, too.

Enjoy the evening, all.

I got an increase in hours today ... Not trying to iron out my schedule and doing the three job balancing act! LOL!

I spent the day at an old friends house helping him with getting his new tv to work on wifi. I was able to fix that in about thirty minutes and we moved on to some other issues that he wanted me to help him with. Fixed several items before the day was over and I returned home.
