I've been cooking since I was 12 (about 10 or 12 years ago ) and must say I'm pretty good at it, but I've never made a decent cole slaw. Until today! Woohoo! Look out Paula Deen, here I come!
Made a meeting with a neighbor and friend this morning about some volunteer work that we're going to do and things went fairly well. Also enjoyed a lunch out with Mrs Aks at our neighborhood Chinese cafe.
I woke up on top of the grass, feeling and thinking right, I am thankful.

Sun queen, I've been wondering for a while. What do you mean when you say that you woke up on top of the grass? Are you a heavy drinker, or do you have a health condition? I don't mean to be nosy, just wondering. You don't have to answer if you are uncomfortable.

Temptation, that's an old saying that goes like this, "Any day you wake up on top of the grass is a good one." in other words, if you wake up and you're UNDER the grass...you won't wake up.

LOL I'm alive and well on top the grass, but who let their dog poop in the yard? That's the only part about starting the day that isn't good.
