That was very nice. They may not have had coffee before leaving home or enough time to stop at Mickey D's for a cup. You warmed their day!

That’s so cool of you to do that. It’s the nicest feeling to do something when no one expected it, and even better when they truly appreciate it. Doing and giving from the heart is soooooo nice. You outdid yourself with all the work in the kitchen making them! I think hubby helped you so he gets a few accolades too.
Mrs Aks and I took a Christmas gift to a small car repair shop where the mechanic has been repairing the car of our adopted single mom’s car for several years now. He is very special because he’ll reduce the repair fees to almost nothing, knowing that she can’t afford much yet has so much pride she wants to pay for things that other do for her. So we got him a personal gift for Christmas because of his kindness towards her. I think we blew him away when we showed up at the shop this afternoon.

Very nice of you. Its hard to find people that put kindness and compassion ahead of getting all they can get out of someone.

Um, actually HE baked...I washed dishes as he dirtied them...for 12 hours. He's a great baker...me, not so much.
You do know there's a special place in heaven for folks like you and your wife.
