I went to a wedding this afternoon for a couple who've been together 17 years. A more "mature" couple than the norm. It was very nice and I actually got to dance a bit!
I adopted a 2-year-old, coal-black boy kitty named Merlin from the Humane Society today. He has yet to meet his stepsister Meeky, who hides under the daybed all day and comes out at night. I'm expecting a rumble tonight!
I was able to get some technical support answers on my new printer this afternoon. It works much better and the scan function now allows me to get .pdf files copied and onto the pc. Life is good when things work well. Thanks to the help of others!
DS #2, who got laid off just before Christmas decided to go into business for himself, since most firms in his field are laying off rather than hiring. Got his LLC papers filed last week and today he got a contract to provide his services to an area company. He will be providing those services to them 3 days a week, potentially over an extended time period.

I'm going to lunch with the girls today! Woohoo! Catch up on all the goss...uh, I mean news....have good food, good company. Life doesn't get much better!
I had a visit at the chiropractors this morning and spend the day browsing at the book store for interesting new stuff, also had lunch out for a change.

That sounds like my kind of day. Replace chiropractor with massage therapist though. I'll never get tired looking at books, and going out for lunch with a friend. Great day...Aks.
