It's a morning and I'm standing up vertical The sun is out and it looks like the start of another nice day that's a little cooler than last week.

Had a nice time at a concert with two friends ... I was so grateful that the decibel level wasn't as bad as I feared and was able to enjoy the music. I even managed to enjoy myself despite being verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry high up by staying put in my seat! LOL! (gulp) ... This was taken from my seat and if you can see across that extremely HIGH section? That's how high up we were but yet, I survived! LOL!

I got a phone call from the manufacture about the warranty and replacement item. He said he was sorry that the shipper mixed up the units on the truck or at the depot and he was getting another replacement ready to go out today; I should have it within the week at my front door.

He apologized for the failures and problems but assured me that things would be taken care of. I didn’t even get upset or yell, being nice to others on the phone seems to have a positive effect and positive results.

Some of you might remember a rant from a few day ago.

Read it here.

The stress & venting thread ~ for everyone

The company The Super Chief order the stuff from got on the ball not waiting to file a claim with USPS. They shipped it on via FedEx 8/28 from OR with a delivery due date of 8/31. The tracking number provided shows that it was shipped to TN. So I'm thinking, here we go again. Well FedEx main hub is in Memphis, so I checked this AM and it arrive in CA early this morning and was out for delivery.

Got the package this afternoon on 8/30 a day ahead of time. Way to go Fed Ex

I spent an hour and a half on the phone with an old friend who had just returned home from his trip. We manage to get caught up on new information and old stories. What a nice time to spend it with him.

Trying to look on the bright side of things:

  • The doctor says my husband's attack of cardiac arrhythmia wasn't serious, probably just too much caffeine.
  • Even though we had to cancel our dinner out, I had some homemade tuna casserole in the freezer and ingredients to make salad.
  • The electricity came back on after only an hour.
  • The Netflix DVD that wouldn't play was all right after I buffed it with a soft cloth.

That's good you are keeping positive ... Sounds like you had a rough evening, my friend. Glad your husband is doing ok.
