Karla, in my case the question should be "Do you even know how to cook?" I think many of you know about my attempt to make a 3-minute microwave cake recently..

I have to think about that one... I prefer dining in a place and seeing my food delivered to my table.

Over cooked ? Well, I burned the crap out of my daughters oatmeal the other day, thankfully I saved the pan, though I still need to take an SOS pad to it...
Under cooked ? hmm, can't remember. Wait, it is coming to me, something frozen, don't recall what it was, but I started to eat it and it was still cold.......................nope, not getting it.
Bonus Question:
What was the last "take out" or "delivery" meal you enjoyed ?
That would have been pizza or grinders.
(You can tell my memory is failing me, I seriously am concerned for my future, I will definitely be the old lady that goes MIA and the police department is leaving pre recorded messages on everyone's answering machine)

Well, DS just ran in and said "We gotta get ready for skating it's 10:22!!!" So I guess I need to stop chattering away and get his gear ready. Going to freeze my tail off at the arena.
Oh, and DS accidentally broke something at a friends house last night so now we need to go hunt down a replacement, which I don't think we are going to find and am stressing about.......
Good morning everyone

Karla what you might have added is how many pans each of us has RUINED burning something, LOL!
Water...I forgot I put the tea pot on, Water boiled out, The enamel of the pot adhered to the burner (elctric stove). I had to wait for it to cool down, heard a nasty noise once it was cooled. It was finaly released from the burner.
omg, this thread is really cracking me up.
once, while still living at home w/parents, i put the kettle on and went to take a shower, of course forgetting about the kettle.
When I got down there, the kettle, previously beautifully stainless steel, was black, the little black ball that was on the lid had blew off and across the kitchen, when i found it the inside of it was still molten so i managed to shove it back on where it resolidified, and the little maroon bird that inserted in the spout was melted, both wings sagging, and also across the kitchen.
Since living on my own, I have burned two more teapots, and as i just told sapphire rose, I burned one f them so bad it not only adhered to the burner, but wouldn't come off.
So I had to take it with me to go buy another one.
There is hope in all this blabbering.
During a vacation abroad this summer I discovered the value of something wonderful for kettle burners like me.......
The electric kettle.
Now I was aware these things existed but didn't put a high enough value on them to take up counter space. However, after getting a cup of tea in only 1.5 minutes, and not ever returning to a kettle to find that I've left it boiling so long that there is only 1/3 C of water left in it, I was hooked. The first thing I did when I got home was go buy an electric kettle.
Best thing i ever did for myself.
oh, this blabbering has got me in trouble! Got to get DS ready and now DD has peed her pants.
Have a great day everyone, and Here's to the people like me that burn pans on a regular basis!!!!!
As I am waking up.........the mind is coming around
Thought of something not long ago.
I ran my bath water and went on the computer. Got involved and forgot I was running the water. Needles to say, we had aflood. What a mess and no water vac either.
Good Sunday morning to you Miss Karla, and all of you bad cooks like me!LOL!!!
What was the last thing you
Over cooked ?
Would have to be the meat loaf I made on Wednesday. It's still is good for sandwiches though.
Under cooked ?
Hmmmmmm??? Can't think of any thing, as I slow burn most everything!
What was the last "take out" or "delivery" meal you enjoyed ?
