We were thinking of moving so we Googled the city and state. The link about 3 or 4 down on the list was called "Detailed Profile"... clickied on that linky and ~poof~ here I am.
I was planning a move to the Pacific NW and googled a specific place in Portland and someone on the forum must have mentioned it because it brought me here.
It happened through a Google search as I was searching out information on Van Horn, TX, and it looked intriguing, but thought nothing of it. I then made a future reference for Interstate 44 on a subsequent Google search and came across this site again, and that time, August 4, 2007, was the day I joined City-Data.com.
How did I find City-Data.com? I was traveling straight along the information superhighway, made a left just past Yahoo.com and a right by QFLEA.com and there I was! I realize there is a shortcut through Ebay but it's just not as scenic.

I was searching different cities to live in...on Google. There is a lot of information on here. I sat at the computer for hours reading different opinions on different subjects.
Was looking for info. about moving and came upon the forums. It was like cresting a hill and seeing a beautiful valley unfold before me...okay that's a bit much. But am glad I found it!
