When you are asked to give the "last 4 digits" of your Social Security Number, do you have go go through the first 5 in your head first ?
LOL - Almost every time!

Would you say you are a high or low maintenance person ?
I am low maintenance but wish I was high maintenance in some ways. I miss the days when I had time to get my nails done & wear
girly clothes; do my hair, etc. Now I'm so busy (posting here on CD ) the high maintenance routine has taken a back seat.

In order to help us decided on a color for the new door
What color is your front door ? Beveled glass with white trim. But our old house was a traditional colonial: butter yellow siding, white shutters
and a red door. The great thing about picking a door color is it's easily & quickly changed with a paint job. Our red door was also white
and a teal green before red won the spot!

Today in History:
National Pound Cake Day
March Forth-Do Something Day
National Dance the Waltz Day
Hug A GI Day - I need to go find a GI to hug - see y'all later & enjoy the sunshine!

Not sure zona - but my dad used to come down the stairs on his birthday singing that famous Roger Miller tune..."Dang me, dang me"....

It was Roger Miller, right?
Great - now THAT song is stuck in my head! OK - back to work!

Remember the last 4 digits of social?

Yes, I remember without going through the others. The last 4 digits are the year my mother was born. So it helps me remember.

High or low maintenance?

Pretty high. My husband would definitely say "high"~~especially with my frequent chiropractic adjustments!!! On the other hand, I don't have my nails done or my hair colored professionally etc. But still pretty high.

Front door?
It's not painted. It's a wood stain. If we did paint it, it would probably match our "trim paint color" which would be kind of a greyish tan. Very, very similar to the color of the little door on Curly's post today!

Today's Question:

When you are asked to give the "last 4 digits" of your Social Security Number

Do you have go go through the first 5 in your head first ?

Nah, mine are easy. My whole ssn has a nice rhythm to it so it's easy to remember.

This isn't it, but it's the same rhythm

Bonus Question:

Would you say you are a high or low maintenance person ?

Low to medium

Extra credit Question:

In order to help us decided on a color for the new door

What color is your front door ?

Sort of a burgundy

I am still thinking about that maintenance question?? Dh is 66 and still working. Does that give you a clue? Yes, he is very high maintenance. My daughter is extremely high maintenance. I think my son and I are low maintenance, but I am adjusting to being higher maintenance.

If everybody went by a number, I would know everybody's "name." No number problems here, but no one gets the numbers. I don't give out my telephone number either. Google your telephone number and see what happens. In this area you can even get a bird's eye picture of the residence.

Diecast toys? HIGH maintenance!
A past neighbor had a bunch of Hot Wheels. He told me he was in Denver once and saw a hobby shop going out of business. He went in and talked with the owner, who it turns out, was going through a nasty divorce.

This guy sold my neighbor cases, yes cases, of Hot Wheels for less than his cost "so the ****** of an ex won't get any money out of them."

He showed me them once. Must have been 20 unopened boxes of brand new Hot wheels.
