Mail Box or P.O. Box
I know some people don't get their mail at home in the mail box. Sometimes people rent a P.O.Box to recieve their mail. It seems that sometimes people are concerned about mail theft. I don't know if there is any other way to recieve your mail or not.
I have been thinking about renting a P.O. Box for safety. What do you use to get, and send you mail?

I use a mail box to send my mail(you know the blue thing)- and my home mail box to receive my mail. Someone is normally home so as soon as the mailman drops it off we take it out right away. Plus we live in a decent neighborhood- not too many snoopy neighbors

I used a PO Box for several years. It wasn't so much that I was concerned about mail theft as it was not wanting people to know where I actually lived. I eventually got rid of it, because I never checked it every day (had to make a special trip).

Well, since I live in an apartment building, I have a mailbox that's like a PO Box. It's in my locked lobby and opens with a key. I guess that's somewhere in between...

P.O. BOX
when living at home with 3 brothers, they were into everything (even my mail)
so, I got a PO BOX, that was almost 30 yrs ago, and I have kept it every since
I check it every week and some times when I'm gone for a month at a time, it's a month before I check it
don't even have a mail box at the house.

I've got too many other things I have to remember to do, so I won't add a PO Box to the list.....I can see it now.....I'd remember about once a month and they would charge me for extra storage.
I have a mailbox at home to recieve the mail but I use the mailbox at work to send.

I use a mail forwarding service. I started using this when my DH and I hit the road for 3 1/2 years in our motor home. They have a P.O. Box and a street address that I can use. I call in for my mail to be sent to me(any way I want) about once a month. For junk I use my home address. I go to the post office to send mail out.

I use the mailbox at home near the street curb. It’s a large “locked” box inside a concrete & block column built at the edge of the property. I send mail out by dropping it off at the post office.
If someone wants my junk mail please come by and I’ll gladly give it to you. I don’t think you want any of my utility bills however so I guess I’m stuck with those.
