Good morning, afternoon, or evening, all!

My happy thing today is Legos, battleship, chinese checkers, Monopoly, Life, etc. Reminiscing about the games and toys of yesteryear.

I liked Legos as a kid, never was as good at them as my older brothers but liked them nonetheless. Don't like stepping on one with a bare foot though!

Does anyone remember battleship? Kind of an odd game, but it was fun when you're 10.

The game of life: "you have just had twins, pay the bank $500 and return to start" or whatever it said.

And card games: gin rummy, battle, old maid, go fish, solitaire.

What is your happy on this or any subject?

BJH-Battleship was my kids favorite and to this day my daughter's kids play it with our son everytime he visits.

Oh, my happy is playing Trivial Pursuit or Balderdash with my spouse, our kids and assorted sig-others, friends, etc. Those evenings always turn into a non-stop marathon of great conversation, dreadfully wonderful puns, and non-stop hilarity. Love to have that kind of time together that does not involve everyone staring hypnotized at the babble box; it's so much more fun and so much more memorable.

I'm enjoying some old games all over again with my kids...Candyland used to be the fave, but now they're all into Chutes and Ladders. I'm excited to be able to share some of my favorite games with them as they grow up.
