Trying to live in two very distant and opposite places at the same time is just tiring at times.

I need to vent my frustration at myself for taking the time to buy a nice birthday card to a friend, write a friendly note in it and walk it to the post office -- only to realize after I got home that I forgot one thing -- the stamp! GRRRR!

^^ chances are it will arrive with "postage due". lol that's always a nice birthday gift.

Or it could be returned back to your address for "postage due"....... it's just too funny and it's happened to me as well but it was a payment on a bill.

Tuesday, at dawn, the police conducted a search starting at the bridge and working out from there. 3 jurisdictions of police, search dogs and an airplane. Very thorough and very professional.

Her parents had been here since before dawn. As the day progressed, the stress on the mother really started to show. I sat and talked with her a couple times during the search. Lovely woman.

The police found the missing woman last night, alive and well in Kansas.

WTF? Kansas doesn't have phones? She couldn't call home and let them know she was ok? Collect calls do still exist....
Yeah, I live in Colorado too. All that worry, not to mention time, money and effort to find her. The family was frantic. What an inconsiderate *****

Same old “in the parking lot” issue. This time it was me who had to back out of a parking spot. I looked both ways to make sure nothing was in my way and proceeded to move out of the spot. While I was able to back out, I had to pull forward and make a sharp right hand turn to leave the area. It was in a tight area of an L-shaped mall.

Well just as I started to pull forward and make that right hand turn, of course another driver had to come (from the right) and pull directly into my path in an effort to get into another parking spot just to my left. While he was doing this, he continued to look ONLY at the parking spot & talked on the CELL phone and avoided making any eye contact with me. If I had not stopped in my effort to pull forward & turn right, he would have hit my car.

What is it, another full moon tonight? where to this nutcases come from?

I think the issue is general inattentiveness where folks are glued to their cell phones .... As I was crossing the street today, I could not help noticing the lady crossing from the opposite side who literally had her eyes glued to her cell phone device and not watching where she was going. She was IN the crosswalk and not paying attention! When it comes to a car versus pedestrian, if she were to get hit, she'd could be killed!

having good looking kids who think with their raging hormones... I know it used to be me, but I wasn't a mom then and it is the thing that caused me to be a mom-one might argue lol.
