^^^ I’m sorry to hear about the continued problem. Is there someone nearby who can let the telco tech work on the phone issue so you can stay at work? My mom couldn’t use just any phone because of her hearing aid and she seemed to always have trouble with bad phones and lines too. She never could use a cell phone.

My apartment maintenance would likely have to allow the tech to enter my unit ... Staying home would not be an option as I don't get paid time off. I guess it is so frustrating to have to deal with this issue right before Thanksgiving and the fact that normally, I would be home until noon on Wednesdays but this week was an exception. It's the timing of this but I should be used to the folks being in my apartment while I'm at work with all the issues relating to installing the wall heater and repairing the wall

I would go with the apartment maintenance if you feel you could trust them.

U know I have all this food to cook for Thanksgiving and I am happy to cook it, but I am not looking forward to the leftovers. It will be too much food for days and by time it is all gone we will all be tired of turkey. I wish there was away to cook just enough, but I don't know how. I am always in love with the holidays, but after the honeymoon I want a divorce lol

Thanks for your concern ... I had to reschedule as the maintenance folks won't stick around to monitor the phone guy while he's in my apartment. I'm not having some strange phone repair man be alone in my apartment so I had to reschedule for Friday, which means I won't be able to go out of town for Thanksgiving (which wasn't looking likely anyways as I had no transportation). I just pray that the gate will not be locked where the phone guy cannot access the outside wires as that has happened in the past. The manager stated that the utility companies have the key to the padlock which was just installed ... *sigh* Let's see how this goes ...

I've got a number of Turkey Stir-Fry dishes I'm itching to try from my Chinese Wok Cookbooks involving leftover Turkey.

I've also got a whole array of standard left-over turkey dishes, like Turkey Tettrazini or Turkey Hawaiian, I'll be making with leftovers.

Enjoy all those leftovers!
