When does "spring break" happen in your area?

This year, it's April 9 through the 19th.

So "whatcha" gonna do today?

Continue priming the walls in the kitchen, more spring yard work and catch some of the NCAA basketball games. I still have 23 teams out of 32 alive on my bracket.

In honor of Some of the Today is's Just For Fun Questions:

Corn Dogs : Yay or Nay? Yay. Definitely yay.

What is your "sign"?

What is your most used "Common Courtesy" ? That's a tough one. I think I live a courteous life. I don't bother folks. I live a quiet life. I yield on the highways. I hold the door open for others. I'm respectful of other's opinions. I try to be helpful to those who will accept the help. I guess my most used common courtesy is my way of thinking - if that makes any sense.

Memory Day - My mom lost a twelve year battle to Alzheimers. Everyone who reads this should do all they can to continue to use their brains to the best of their abilities. Continue to read and post here at CD. Do crossword puzzles and soduko and other things that challenge the mind. But most important, stay socially active. They say that the social interaction with others is critical in the fight against Alzheimers and other dementias. I think there's a lot of veracity (thanks Karla) in that theory. I know ... you don't expect serious stuff from me. But every so often, it just seems appropriate and today is one of those days.

Today's Question(s):
When does "spring break" happen in your area ?

For the schools it is the last week of March.

Bonus Question:
So "whatcha" gonna do today ?
Any fun plans out there ?

Bowling in the morning for the kids. Then a bag drop off for food collection for one of the local food pantries with the Boy Scouts. A Family Fun-Fair at the Middle School early afternoon. Then hopefully a quiet evening to relax from all the "fun" in the morning.

In honor of Some of the Today is's Just For Fun Questions:
Corn Dogs : Yay or Nay

Yay! I love Corn Dogs.

What is your "sign"
Virgo

When was the last time you "Danced" ?
Seriously: My wedding
Fooling around: walking the boys to school one morning and trying to get them going. You should have heard the howls (I'm evil, I know)

What is your most used "Common Courtesy" ?
Probably a tie between holding doors open and having a smile for everybody I see during the day usually.

Today's Question(s):

When does "spring break" happen in your area ? Third week in April. With all the snow days this winter, school doesn't get out until June 19th.

Bonus Question:

So "whatcha" gonna do today ? I was supposed to stay at my daughter's & take care of the dog this weekend so they could go to Maine. Might have been their last trip before the baby's born. But she got the stomach bug this week so I'm home. The sky is blue & it's going to be close to 50, so I'll spend the day outside.

In honor of Some of the Today is's Just For Fun Questions:

Corn Dogs : Yay or Nay - Nay

What is your "sign" - Leo

When was the last time you "Danced" ? - Yesterday. Because it was the first day of spring!

What is your most used "Common Courtesy" ?- I like Charley's answer... it's a way of thinking. Just being kind to others.

Corn dogs, heck yeah! Add a little mustard and a Coke, and Im all set!
Last time I 'danced' was probably at work last week. Long story.
My most used 'common courtesy' would probably be keeping the door open as I walk in or out, for the next person walking into a store.

My daughter had homework to catch up on so we stayed at home. I did some long overdue scrubbing of the bathroom and kitchen and then we went for a walk this afternoon just to get some fresh air. Nothing exciting.

What is your "sign"

Leo/Virgo cusp

When was the last time you "Danced" ?

What is your most used "Common Courtesy" ?
