Default Today's Question Wednesday 3-25-09

Good morning everyone
Happy Wednesday
I was having trouble getting into the site this morning it was acting all "snarky"
So I pretyped it on a email

I was worried about the question being late but then realized that if the whole site was slow others might of been having the same problem.
So lets give it a shot with

Today's Question(s):

Do you have ceiling fans in your home ?
If so how many ?

lol How many of you realized when looking at them that the tops sure could use some "attention"

Bonus Question:

For those with no ceiling fans do you have any regular fans in your home ?

Extra Credit Question :

What was the last "bet" you made with a friend or family member ?

Who "won" ?

Today in History:

1882 1st demonstration of pancake making (Department store in New York City)
1896 Modern Olympics began in Athens, Greece
1954 RCA manufactures 1st color TV set, a 12-inch screen for $1,000
1970 Concorde makes its 1st supersonic flight
(700 MPH/1,127 KPH)

Word of the Day:
tumult \TOO-mult; TYOO-mult\, noun:
1. The commotion or agitation of a crowd, usually accompanied with great noise, uproar, and confusion of voices; hurly-burly; noisy confusion.
2. Violent commotion or agitation, with confusion of sounds; as, "the tumult of the elements."

Today is:
