Today's Question(s):

When was the last time you had a Flat Tire ?

Did you:

Change it yourself
or
Called someone
I haven't had one for a few years, but my neighbor had one about two weeks ago. I went and changed it for her.

Bonus Question:

When will you start putting away your "winter clothes" and break out your "summer clothes" ?
Well its gonna be really nice here this week, but last year it snowed in early May. So I guess I'll keep both out.

Extra Credit Question:

Does your local TV news station have a "slogan" or "catch phrase" ?

and it would be ?
Where your news comes first.
Today's Yay,Yuck or Eh :

Brussel sprouts

When was the last time you had a Flat Tire ?
Two years ago. Called AAA from a nearby residence, but a good Samaritan found me and did it before AAA could reach me.

When will you start putting away your "winter clothes" and break out your "summer clothes" ?
The only difference between summer and winter clothes for me is the addition of scarves, gloves and coat. I'll 'spect I'll be hanging them together in the closet shortly.

Does your local TV news station have a "slogan" or "catch phrase" ?
I only watch movie channels

Brussel sprouts Yay!
Okra Eh
Sauerkraut Eh

Today's Question(s):

When was the last time you had a Flat Tire ?

Last summer we woke up in the morning, three days in a row, to find the same tire flat as a pancake. We called AAA who came and put the spare on....I took the tire to the garage to have it fixed.....they couldnt find anything wrong with it and so just inflated it....the next day it was flat again....same story.....the third morning it was flat again .... took it to the garage.... this time the owner went back while they did the soap suds and water to find the leak......he came back very apologetic....said the puncture was very obvious and he didnt know how the guy had missed it before.

I have been driving since 1957 and I think I may have changed 2 tires. I am not good like that. I dont trust the jack....I dont trust myself and I dont know if this is a real memory of a fear.... flipping the hubcap with the lug nuts in it and having to crawl around, in the dark, to find them.

Bonus Question:

When will you start putting away your "winter clothes" and break out your "summer clothes" ? That is in process.....we are also getting ready to go to Japan for a month and it will be summery there.....so am packing summer clothes....when we get back will put the winter ones away.

Extra Credit Question:

Does your local TV news station have a "slogan" or "catch phrase" ? I don't watch the local news so I dont have any idea.

When was the last time you had a Flat Tire ? Did you have a little bird watching me, lol? I just got a flat tire 2 days ago driving down our driveway.

Change it yourself I brought it back up to the top and my DH and I changed it together. We do everything together. We are true partners.

When will you start putting away your "winter clothes" and break out your "summer clothes" ? I'm hoping to do that in a couple of weeks but I will keep a sweatshirt out just in case.

Does your local TV news station have a "slogan" or "catch phrase" ? We don't get local TV. Since we traveled in the motor home for over 3 years we had to subscribe to NY and CA to get the prime channels. One thing good about that is if we miss a good show eastern time we can wait and watch it again on the CA stations, lol.

Today's Yay,Yuck or Eh : Eh. The weather is not so nice but we have a lot of things going on so that is always good.

Brussel sprouts They are ok.
Okra Can't stand them. The slimy things, lol. Kind of like oysters.
Sauerkraut Love the Bavarian kind. Just a little sweetness yum.
[/b]

1878 - New York installs 1st firehouse pole I always wanted to slide down one.

1913 - Gideon Sundback of Sweden patents the zipper My DH loves those especially on shirts.

Chocolate-Covered Cashew Truffle Day OMG

Tuna Day That's a main lunch in my house.

Kindergarten Day Ha. Remember show and tell? I brought my mother's Leopard underwear to show. Who knows what 5 and 6 year olds are thinking, lol.

Big Word Day- A day to use huge words on purpose just to impress. !!!![/b][/quote] I like to keep things simple then everyone is on the same page and no one feels bad about not knowing something.

I didnt have one but we were in my daughters car when she got one. No jack, stuck in the middle of the desert in Az, in June, it was awful. We called the HP but they took forever and some truckers stopped and not only help us change it, but gave us water as well. Just as we were leaving, the highway patrol finally showed.
Ive already started getting out my summer clothes.
And I like all of the above, when theyre cooked right.

I think this must have been in a movie or something because I have the same fear - to the point that I carry 5 extra lug nuts in my auto survival kit in the car.
