Marriage!

The sometimes beleaguered "institution" of marriage. Yes, not every marriage turns out happily. As an aquaintance said: Divorce can be a positive thing. And I agree, if a couple has tried to work things out.

But overall I think marriage is a very positive thing. When a marriage is happy it is a true and deep blessing. And in my opinion marriage still is and always will be the best way to raise kids.

What makes you happy?

I'm surprised too. I thought I was the only one happy about anything today.

It's Monday...nuff said.....lol

I'm thankful for my/our freedoms.

We actually had many activities to choose from this weekend we had a hard to deciding what to do.

Ended up Mom ruled Saturday and the bike wanted to go to the BikeFest up in Leesburg so the decision was taken out of my hands.

We take these things for granted and I'm thankful I have them.

I am so very happy we got a good rain soaking up here today. The temps have dropped, the skies are blue, the a/c is off, windows are open and the birds are singing. Now our Texas flora will get a much needed boost of nourishment, and dazzle us with it's unique landscapes.

My DD "the Pill", came by to clean the house, and brought my cutie "Z boy". He is so beautiful and fun, and will be turning 1 yr. old this Thursday. DH was home today, so we got to play all day with him. I am so happy to have my children and grand children close by healthy and happy. Life is good here in Funky Town!!!

Marriage can be good, but my happy thing today is I had the pre-trial for my divorce case today and it went really well. Ten days and I will be divorced and that is a happy thing to me now.
