Can you afford a house in the neighborhood that you grew up in?
For me the answer is no. I can't even afford to drive down the street in the neighborhood that I grew up in. I was sprouted in the Washington D.C. suburbs in Maryland, and home prices are insane there.

I grew up in so many different homes.
I think we could afford a place in Levittown, NY, and Denver as well, but as for Salinas, CA., I am doubtful.

If you mean the first house, no; if you mean the second house, no; well in fact, probably none of the houses I lived in (NYC).

Yes, but I probably wouldn't want to live there. I could probably even afford to buy that little two bedroom house I lived in as a child, but there was a reason we left.

Yes, but the house would be strapped to my back! It's a pretty place but WAY too crowded for me now! I'd probably go postal living there!!!
