Point is, these people can be VERY normal. I dunno of porn stars though, because the media exposure is another matter. And, this experience has put my mind in a totally different state with respect to strippers and sex workers - I used to shrug them off before.

Yeah, whatever the hell "normal" is. Look at all those normal, right wing types. How many have been caught in wide-stances or entertaining page boys or feeding their neighbor's barking dogs broken-glass laced meatballs? My theory is the more upstanding, beyond reproach the appearance, the more rattling, bone-squeaking skeletons come falling out of the closets if you crack the door. Could be the whole point of keeping up appearances, at least for some, is to hide activities and preferences that your neighbors may see as "abnormal". Gimme an open book any day. Never known any pornstars as far as I know but I've gotten to know a few women who I later learned were either strippers or sex workers and they seemed pretty normal to me. The truth is there's no real difference between someone who exchanges dinner for sex from someone who exchanges cash for sex. So really, most of the people you meet everyday have the same moral standards as hookers anyway.
