Masking tape or duct tape? Both.

Word of the Day:
tergiversation \tuhr-jiv-uhr-SAY-shuhn\ , noun:
1. The act of practicing evasion or of being deliberately ambiguous. Some of the answers are.
2. The act of abandoning a party or cause. Please, don't get me started.

Today is:
National Grape Popsicle Day. Haven't had one of those in years.
Masking Tape Day. It's ready for whatever paint job comes up.
Pop-Up Toaster Day. Today we'll have Eggos waffles in the toaster
International Jazz Day. That can be any day for me.

Good morning all. Yum Karla. Bagels. When I lived in NY I had a friend who worked on a Dude Ranch in Wyoming for one summer. I used to overnight her Fresh NY Bagels and homemade strawberry jam.

What song title could best describe your schedule lately ?

"Rainy Days And Mondays Always Get Me Down"

Have you ever driven off forgetting you had placed something on the roof of your vehicle ?
Well not the roof but the bumper. I left one of our good walkie talkies on the bumper when we were working on the motor home when it was in storage. When DH and I left the storage lot we turned onto the main Hwy and I heard it fly off the bumper. Sure enough it was in the middle of the road all busted. That was almost 5 years ago and I still haven't lived that one down. They just don't make walkie talkies like that anymore. Now they are all rechargeable batteries and they just aren't as good.

No toaster or toaster oven in our off grid home. We have both for the motorhome. The last thing I "broiled" was a cherry poptart for my DH yesterday afternoon.

Do you Sushi ? No.

Masking tape or duct tape ? Got to have duct tape.

Have a great day everyone.

I think I am going to have to intercept your sister on her way down to you. What route did you say she was taking?

Have you ever driven off forgetting you had placed something on the roof of your vehicle ? I can top yours, Karla. I had a pickup truck and was moving from the city to the country. I placed a whole bunch of things in the bed of the truck. I thought I was forgetting something when I got in to drive to the country, but couldn't think what it was. I figured it would come to me. So I was going 45 mph on a highway ramp when I saw in my rear view mirror all manner of papers flying all over the place. I had taken all the file folders out of my file cabinet to transport them and hadn't put the files back into the cabinet once it was in the truck - all my bill statements, medical papers, insurance documents were all over the road!

Just curious, How do you "do" "the Question of the day" ? Drives me nuts that people (I swear I am not talking about YOU livewire ) copy and paste all the questions en mass and then answer all the questions at the bottom. OK, well livewire, yours does comes to mind.

Do you read the question then hit reply at the bottom of the ? page ? Yes

Answer the Question then go back and read everyones posts ? Didn't I just answer this one ?

Pop up toaster. I have a toaster oven that I used one time but didn't like it.

What was the last thing you put in your pop up toaster or toaster oven ? Bread in a pop-up toaster.

Do you Sushi ? I have and lived through it. Given a choice, I'd prefer a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and sitting at the kid's table.

Masking tape or duct tape ? If you're gonna do something, do it right the first time! Duct Tape is for real jobs!
