What is your favorite animal that lives at the Zoo ?

Goodness, it's been decades since I've been to a zoo, any zoo. I remember when I was growing up in a suburb of Detroit that the Detroit Zoo put in a "Penguin-arium," probably in the early 70s, and I thought that was pretty cool. You could watch the little tuxedo-clad fellows swimming past these huge plexiglass windows, and they looked like they were flying. They're so stumpy and clumsy looking on land, but they just went zipping along like rockets when they were in the water.

I love them all... I love them even more if they weren't at a zoo but a Safari or wild animal park. Hate the idea of the animals in such minimal surroundings, but some zoos are getting better with the spaces.

if trash car is nearby I toss it, if it just needs a refill I try to put in the refill pile ( which is getting larger too). Other then that I reach for another pen
