It's 31° and sleeting.

One of the very best things about being retired is not having to go out if I don't want to.

Absolutely gorgeous Was up early enough to see the almost full moon over Baru, along with the sunrise. Probably going to be in the mid-60's and feel warmer in the sun, yet cool breezes. PERFECT

Cold, it is noon here, and we are still at 28 degrees. At least there is no rain, snow, or ice. I should not fuss yet. That weather is due on Monday night than I will fuss about the cold and ice than. It took two weeks for my last ice to melt, and it was slick as owl snot. They now say I need to get used to it as with global warming we will see the extreme heat, lots of rain or snow, and extream cold. I can live with the heat, but this cold is the pits, and how are southern born people suppose to deal with ice walks and drives. I put out salt, and still couldn’t get the ice off the drive. The cussed rocks in the salt track in the house and hurt the hard wood floors so now we come in and remove our shoes. I won’t even go on about the plastic shovel; I think I want a flame thrower.
Oh how I miss my 90 to 100 degree days.
