Right now it is 85 degrees. We will probably hit 100 with the heat index even higher! I /we shouldn't complain though, our men and women in the military deal with higher temps then this over in the middle east.

heat index of 106 at 8:59 a.m., air temp is 89. gonna be another scorcher.

if they ever decide to have a holiday in honor of willis carrier [inventor of A/C], i'm in!

This Afternoon: Sunny and hot, with a high near 100. Heat index values as high as 113. West wind between 3 and 6 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 80. Southeast wind around 7 mph becoming southwest.

Right now it's sunny, 95 degrees, 53% humidity and dewpoint of 75 degrees. Our heat index is 107. It's not even noon.

no relief In sight!

It got up to 77F today with sunny skies. The West Coast seems to be the only cool spot in the country at the moment. My heart goes out to the rest of you suffering in this unrelenting heat wave!

67 degree start up temps with a high in the low 90's and a chance of storms!
