Faulty shopping carts. First, it is stuck in the line and doesn't want to come loose from the one in front. Then, after finally getting it free, it has a dead wheel so it is hard to push or one wheel squeaks or keeps getting hung up.

if there is a faulty shopping cart......I'm bound to get it.

My biggest pet peeve are people who do not return the shopping cart to the station. God I curse them. Lazy lazy people make me so mad.

This is not a problem for me. Being a guy I do not have the shopping skills needed to buy more than only what I need for my next meal. Thus the hand baskets work for me. At any given time I only have about 15 minutes worth of food in the house.

Can I add one shopping cart peeve? People who leave their garbage in the cart and put it away so that when I finally do free it from the line, it's filled with plastic bags, gun wrappers, circulars and other crap!

Gun wrappers? Hey, that would be my favorite store!

I think we call that store Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's!

I don't use shopping carts that often, I use those plastic carry baskets.. I guess that's a good way to get a work-out while shopping.

My pet peeve about shopping carts is people leaving them in parking spots, and there's always a cart corral less than 50 feet away. There's always a chance of the wind, or other factors, pushing those carts into the fenders of parked vehicles..

Yes, it's awful what people leave in the carts (diapers also)!!
I seem to always get one that has big time issues!
Especially one with a square wheel...and there is no more carts to get another one!! I turn into the Taz immediately.....

Try putting a 40-pound bag of dry dog food in one of those little carry baskets.
