The bible says "love thy neighbor". Easier said then done.

Some folks will just plain take advantage. Until you put your foot down and tell them no...do it yourself...get a job...buy a car...walk...whatever...they will continue to take advantage. Be firm.

Im barely working but i think he thinks im his personel shopper/taxi now. He called me yesterday & said he needs a ride to the store to get a watermelon & he dont want to walk the 2 miles roundtrip. Today were suppose to go to a picnic & im leaving early without him. He has spent $30.00 on razors, $10.00 on mouth wash & gave another neighbor $20.00 just to help her out even though she has a income & her dad who lives with her does as well. He knows im having a rough time & he could of given me the 20 bucks or any amount. Ive had it with his guy. When we went shopping a footlong sub was on sale for $5.00 & he wanted to store to make him a fresh one with no mustard for $5.00. They said if he wants a sub made it will cost him more. The 5 dollar subs only applied to pre-made subs. He took a fit with the mgr & embarassed me. He also talks to total strangers in the supermarkets (starts conversations) & expects the employees to jump to his every need. He made a comment to me that im a push over & then took it back. Im a nice guy & like to help out my neighbors. This guy is not going to use me for now on. If he wants groceries or a ride it will be .41 cents a mile (wear, tear, gas) & $10.00 a hour with a min of 1 hours time. The store is only a mile away so i would just charge him just a few bucks or so. I have been taken advantage of before & you think i would learn from that. Well...now i have.
If you would have taken him to a Subway, they have $5.00 footlongs and they ARE made fresh. He could opt for mustard or no mustard or whatever he wanted. Avacado is extra though.

I like subway but i like crunchy bread (toasted). The subs at vons were on french bread & mostly bread (very little meat, etc). I did complain to vons & they could care less. I just will not ever buy the sub again. I rarely shop at vons anyways.
