Today's Question(s):

When you were a kid did you ask lots of questions ?
Yeah, but I was too shy to ask questions of everybody so it was usually my parents, grandparents, or other close family members that I bombarded with questions.

Was there one question that you asked over and over that never got answered ?
I had an uncle who always caught more fish than I did no matter how I copied his technique/bait/fishing spots, etc. He never told me what his secret was.

Was there one question did you ask and when you got the answer you were surprised ?
When I asked how birds and airplanes fly.

Bonus Question:

(This was inspired by gloryB's thread and Blutime's answer)

Do you have anything really strange in or around around your house ?

Do neighbors count?..LOL

What is the normal reaction from folks when they learn of this ?

lol though you might find this out after your posting today

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing someone dropped off at your home ?
Today the mailman dropped off a box of pet meds for my dog, and it included a doggy bone treat too!...my dog was very thrilled about that.
Extra because I can Question:
In honor of Intern appreciation Day

Where would you like to intern for a week ?

With Warren Buffet at Berkshire Hathaway. Since he's one of the most successful businessmen and investors in history and is still one of the richest men in the world (the last I saw he had about 37 billion bucks), I might learn something about getting rich myself!

Just for Fun:
Who is appreciating their A/C today ?
I sure am! It is a little over a 100 degrees today in my part of Texas.

What temp is your A/C set on ?
About 75 degrees.

Do you wish it was lower or higher ?
Lower, but if I turn it down anymore I'll have to hock something to pay the electric bill!

When you were a kid did you ask lots of questions ? I was kind of quiet when I was very young so I don't think I asked a lot of questions. That came when I got older.

Was there one question that you asked over and over that never got answered ? Why my mother chose some men to date. Yuk!!

Was there one question did you ask and when you got the answer you were surprised ? I don't remember.

Do you have anything really strange in or around around your house ? Our whole house is strange. We are almost underground with what looks like a big white landing pad as our roof.

What is the normal reaction from folks when they learn of this ? Why did you choose to build a house like that and is that a house?.

What was the last thing someone dropped off at your home ? Not too many people get through our locked gates so it was last summer. I got a big basket of fresh veggies, homemade jams, canned meat, and "fresh" frozen beef from the family who keeps cows on our land.

Where would you like to intern for a week ? A real working farm. I would love to learn it all and how to live off the land the old fashioned way.

Who is appreciating their A/C today ? No A/C in my house.

Bonus Question:

(This was inspired by gloryB's thread and Blutime's answer)

Do you have anything really strange in or around around your house ?
well, I don't think they are strange, but we have lots of animals, chickens, ducks, geese, swans, pheasants, rabbits and who knows what else that is running around at the barn all loose, nothing in pens and my black lab down right in the middle of them, people think that it's strange that the dog doesn't bother any of them
guess this is ot in or around the house but at the barn
now in the house, I have an old wooden church pew in my house

What is the normal reaction from folks when they learn of this ? about all the animals, people just want to come and see them, I say come on, wear shoes that you can wash with a water hose after

Today's Question(s):

When you were a kid did you ask lots of questions ?

Not that I recall. I was pretty quiet and shy as a kid.

Was there one question that you asked over and over that never got answered ?

Not really.

Was there one question did you ask and when you got the answer you were surprised ?

Yes, but this is a G-rated forum so I won't repeat it here.

Bonus Question:
(This was inspired by gloryB's thread and Blutime's answer)

Do you have anything really strange in or around around your house ?

I guess that depends on your definition of "strange." I think it's perfectly normal to have thousands and thousands of books in our home, but judging by some reactions I've gotten, not everyone would consider it normal.

What is the normal reaction from folks when they learn of this ?

Those who love reading as much as we do consider it completely normal. Other folks are flabbergasted.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing someone dropped off at your home ?

My daughter the Tech Goddess dropped off my laptop last Saturday, after giving it a good going-over and improving its performance enormously.

Extra because I can Question:
In honor of Intern appreciation Day

Where would you like to intern for a week ?

With the Madison Symphony Orchestra.

Just for Fun:
Who is appreciating their A/C today ?

We only have a couple of window air conditioners that we don't run unless it's really hot, and it's ranged from temperate to downright cool this week, so we haven't had them on.

What temp is your A/C set on ?
I'd have to turn them on to see, but I think in the mid 70s or thereabouts.

Do you wish it was lower or higher ?
They're fine right there.
